Well...this challenge is bitter sweet being that this is the last challenge for the current DT and next week, a new DT will take over!

This week's color challenge really reminded me of Valentines or love...but it's a little too early for all that and since this weekend, the Texas temparatures were near the 100s, I decided to go with ICE CREAM. This is a 5x7 gift card holder that is just adhered shut except for a small space perfect for the Sonic card (wish the colors matched...lol)....
I dry embossed the Creme Brulee cardstock then sanded it to resemble a waffle cone...I stamped the clouds from Childhood for the ice cream scoops....Vineyard Berry ink on Blush Cardstock...I had to add some "chocolate" to the ice cream so I topped it with a Chocolate button from CTMH'S Basic Craft Buttons and tied a bow using some bulk Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon (retired).

Also...don't forget to visit the other DT members and see what crafty thing they have to share this week!!! Make their day by telling them how much you're going to miss them as they will be departing the H2H DT as well.

ReplyDeleteI'm noticing you also have that darn photobucket square on your blog, too. Someone posted on the boards that TCBOTB has moved off photobucket and that's why it's there. Guess we'll have to find another blog background company to go with.
This is darling. The clouds are such a great idea for ice cream scoops. And that waffle cone is awesome! I am going to have to try this.
