Core Catalog New Products Blog Hop...

Welcome to the 2020-2021 Core Catalog Blog Hop where twenty-two CTMH Consultants will INSPIRE you with products from our annual catalog!

This Blog Hop is going to be JAM-PACKED with products that will be around ALL YEAR LONG...AND we're not talking until the end of 2020...we're talking ALL THE WAY until August 31, 2021.

If you've come from Alyson's Blog, you're on the right track...keep on hopping around until you get back to where you started. If you're starting here, WELCOME!

Our Core Catalog has a few Paper Packets as well as some versatile Thin Cuts and distress products available. I chose to use PARTY TIME paper packet and stickers which is heavily birthday-themed coupled with our Stitched Hexagon Thin Cuts...

--------------------------------------------------------
Now...let's see the layout I made...
-----------------------------------------------
I used our NEW GLOSS SPRAYS to spray a piece of White Daisy Cardstock to match their uniforms. I then used a retired alphabet thin cut to cut out "soccer" and 2020. That SHIMMER you see on the word "soccer" is my FAVORITE Clear Shimmer Brush...a girls' soccer team definitely needs SHIMMER, don't you think?!?!
------------------------------------------------------
Our Core Catalog is also FULL of Acrylic Shapes which is where these Yellow Acrylic Stars comes from. You can use them for anything...from birthdays, night-gazing or sports, like you see here...

----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's all I have for you today...please head on over to Michelle's Blog to see what Core Products she's showcasing this evening!

Vist Melinda's Blog if you get lost along the way

Don't forget to head on over to my WEBSITE to check out all the NEW PRODUCTS...some will be retiring at the end of October 2020 to make room for some new FABULOUS November-December products...and of course, our Core products will be available throughout the rest of the year and most of 2021!

Plastic Patterns - Technique Blog Hop...

It's almost Friday, y'all!!! And...it's already the MIDDLE OF OCTOBER which means we are at the end of the September/October Supplemental Catalog and well into the 2020-2021 Core Catalog. I mention the Core Catalog because on Page 81, there are some NEW pre-designed stencil sheets that we are featuring in this Plastic Patterns Technique Blog Hop this evening!

We have ten CTMH Consultants playing along this month so it won't take you long to hop through and get tons of inspiration! If you're coming from Brandi's Blog, you're on the right track...keep hopping around until you get back to where you started. If you're starting here, WELCOME!

Let's take a look at the card I made using Stencil Pack 3. I LOVE this Stencil Pack because one of the 12 x 12 stencil sheets actually has NINE LITTLE SQUARES that can be used all by themselves, which is what I did here!

------------------------------------------------------
I used the polka dot pattern from Stencil Pack 3 and our NEW Distress Oxide Inks in Abandoned Coral. Using my multi-purpose mat made the clean up SUPER EASY and our NEW Mini-Blending tool made it a little less messy on my fingers!
-------------------------------------------------------
After my polka dots were set, I used the same color and my Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink to sponge over the card front, blending in the line between the two...
-------------------------------------------------
I finished the card off with an oval cut using the Comfort & Joy - Cardmaking Stamp Set & Thin Cuts. I LOVE that I can pull shapes from my Thin Cuts that come with my stamp sets and use them all by themselves. I also pulled out my Simple Serif Thin Cuts to cut my sentiment...a simple HI (we all need cards that say that!) I just used the Thin Cuts but you can also use the stamp set to stamp your letters on top of the Thin Cuts...sooooo COOL!!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Hop on over to Alyson's Blog and see what PLASTIC PATTERNS she is using this evening!

Don't forget, if you get lost along the way, you can always visit Melissa's Blog for a complete list of hoppers!

Finding Inspiration with Comfort & Joy...

Our CTMH Team had a weekend full of training and one of the exercises challenged us to find a piece of artwork in the NEW November-December 2020 Supplemental Catalog and use it as a starting point to recreate with another Collection.

I chose to use Comfort & Joy and LOVE how it turned out!!!

-----------------------------------------------------------
Here are some closeups of my card...check out all that SHIMMER with the Golden Rod Stickles and my Clear Shimmer Brush...

Do you use our catalogs as Idea Books? I would LOVE to know!

Got Candy? and Stencils - with H2H....

This week over on the H2H Challenge Blog, it's all about STENCILS!!!

CTMH has MANY STENCILS to choose from and you can even make your own using our Stencil Paper.

I chose to take one of our pre-made stencils and make this one-page layout using the Got Candy? Special...

---------------------------------------------------------
Here's a closeup of the stenciling. I took the Stencil Pack 3 and cut apart all the different squares (you can leave whole and use but I thought it would be more manageable to cut them apart since that's how I will probably be using them anyway). I laid it on my cardstock base then used my mini-blending tool to sponge Black Soot Distress Oxide ink all over.

Don't forget to head on over to the H2H Blog and see what the other DT Members have to share! You can play along with us, using stencils and at least one identifiable CTMH product before the end of October!

Day 6 | 31 Days of Christmas Cards...

Today is DAY 6 of our 31 Days of Christmas Cards video collab over on YouTube.

Here's a look at the cards I made...somewhat simple compared to my Creative Design Team friends but that's okay! I used a super affordable stamp set - Jolly Characters - to make ALL MY CARDS, coupled with Comfort & Joy Paper and our Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers, these cards are very reproducible and have some room for you to add your own style!

----------------------------------------------------
My video shows an EASY WAY to color this CUTE little reindeer...so easy that your children or grandchildren can help!
--------------------------------------------------
My video shows you how to get the snowflake ONLY IN THE CENTER of the ornaments...
-------------------------------------------------
Although the Jolly Characters stamp set is PERFECT for our Multi-Circle Windows Thin Cuts, you can create the same look by random stamping the wreath and adding holly berries with the Dark Red Tri-Blend Marker...

Thank you for stopping by!!!

HAPPY OCTOBER, y'all!!! So many FUN things happening this month so stay tuned! In the meantime, let's start with this GORGEOUS Stamp of the Month - With All My Love!!!

Don't forget to hop all the way around and leave some love along the way.

Here's my card...I used a card base from the Craft With Heart Card Subscription which made this card SUPER fast to put together! Doesn't that stamp set go PERFECTLY with that lattice pattern at the top of this PRE-PRINTED card base (one of my FAVORITE things about our Craft With Heart Subscriptions - Cards AND Layouts)....

I used some Shimmer Brushes to add some SHIMMER to the focal piece. I LOVE adding sparkle to my cards and layouts using our Shimmer Brushes (and WE HAVE NEW COLORS!!!)...

Don't forget that this SOTM is only available during the month of October 2020 and you can get it for only $5 with a qualifying order OR you can sign up to be one of my VIPs and get the SOTM EACH MONTH for FREE with a qualifying order!
