Cutie Pie SOTM Blog Hop...

Welcome to this month's SOTM Blog Hop featuring CUTIE PIE...

If you've come from Lauren's Blog, you're on the right track...keep hopping around 'till you get back to where you started!

I decided to break out my Confetti Wishes Paper Packet to make this standard-size card...

----------------------------------------------
I cut apart the sentiment "my little CUTIE PIE" and masked the "cutie" to stamp on each pennant or Polaroids are what they like to me! I pop-dotted the pennant sash for dimension since the rest of the card is pretty simple.

------------------------------------------
Here's the inside...decided to add a basic cupcake and add just a little bit of color using CTMH ShinHan Touch Twin Markers.  Notice those little random dots...yeah, about that - see below for the explanation!

----------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------
And...this is how I fixed my mishap...I look at mistakes as an opportunity to embellish...lol

Thanks for stopping by...your next stop is Judy's Blog!

Remember...you can get this CUTIE stamp set only during the month of December! If you don't already have a consultant and would like to purchase CTMH Products, you can do so {{{{here}}}}! Once your order totals $50, you'll be prompted to add CUTIE PIE to your cart for $5!

Life is Sweeter - In the Woods with SOUS...

This week's Die-Cut Challenge over at Stuck on U Sketches is In the Woods! Of course we want you to interpret this how you want...wait 'till you see my interpretation!

I decided to use a wood-grain overlay for my card to go along with the challenge...paired with Honey Ink and a Honeycomb Border Stamp.

--------------------------------------------
This little dragonfly was a perfect, simple touch to this card...I thought! And...some more of that Thin 3D-Foam Tape added the perfect amount of dimension in popping the sentiment piece off the card-front!
---------------------------------------------
I stamped some strips of Colonial White Cardstock and created a frame so the honeycomb pattern would carry over to the inside...here's a peek!
-------------------------------------------------
This was seal was a later addition...took me a while to figure out what the inside should say.

Here is the overlay I used for the die-cut wood-grain...

Tiered 2x4 Pumpkins - DTC #89....

Are you ready for another week at Decorate to Celebrate?!?!?

This week, since it's so close to Thanksgiving, I'm going FALL for y'all.

I've seen many, many, many versions of these on Pinterest and even pinned a few on my Pinterest "Fall" Board...

These would make an EASY addition to any Fall celebration.

-----------------------------------------
I downloaded some of Lisa's Digital Paper, printed it on regular 'ol computer paper, cut to size then adhered with Mod Podge!  The stems are some retired striped CTMH ribbon that is tied with baker's twine and hot glued to the top...SUPER SIMPLE!!!

Thanks for stopping by...head on over to the DTC Blog to check out the rest of the DT Member's take on Challenge #89

December Daily - Prompts and Photo Suggestions...

I'm busy planning my December Daily (DD) Album and wanted to pop in to offer up a FREE DOWNLOAD and a suggestion for your photos.

First off, I hear that DD is not complete without "prompts" to help you get started...especially for us "newbies"...lol.

I created this one from a few I pinned on my December Daily Pinterest Board...you should be able to right click and save to your computer then print out.
Feel free to cross out what you don't like and know you won't use then add a date to the left of each prompt to help you PLAN your December and your DD Album.
-------------------------------------------
Next...you will need to set up a system on your computer for all your photo downloads. I have used this method for other projects and will use it for my DD Album. You could go ahead and create these folders so come December 1st, you're ready to upload your daily photos and drop them in the appropriate folder.

That's it for now!!!

Don't forget to check out and follow my December Daily Pinterest Board...

December Daily - Get it Now & Follow Along....

Are you a "December Daily" person?

Truth be told, I have never done a DD album but have always wanted to!

This year, CTMH has the most darling little book and accessories that can easily be adapted to be a DD Album....and much more cost effective, if you ask me!

I know the 'name of the game' is to make the album ahead of time then all you have to do is print your pictures daily and slap them on your pages...easy, right! Well...I'm going to be doing them as we go and showing you how!

If you want to play along, grab your stuff or you can order all your supplies {{{{here}}}}.  If you hurry up and order, everything should be in before the 1st week is over...leaving you plenty of time to catch up!

Here's what you'll need if you're playing along CTMH-style:

You can order it all or delete what you don't think you need. No purchase necessary to play along!!! For ease, if you're ordering, type in "Holiday Happenings" into the search box under the SHOP tab!

If you're playing along with stuff from your stash, here's what you'll need;
  • Album - at least 8"x6" with at least 30 pages or a system where pages can be added.
  • Pocket Page Protectors that will match the size of your Album.
  • Embellishments....LOTS of embellishments!!!
  • Universal Stamp Set that has some Christmas images as well as fonts or numbers for dates!
----------------------------------------------------------
Here's a look at ALL the stuff I plan on using with my DD Album...it all fits very nicely in my CTMH Medium Organizer...even the stamp sets and the Holiday Happenings Album fit.  All I have to do is pick it up by the handle and go!

Gather your stuff and meet me back here December 2nd...I'll be showing you what I created for my 1st day! And...just so you know, this might not be a "daily" posting...I might post 3 times a week and show several days in that one post...that way, I can still give my undivided attention to my Design Teams and regular obligations.

See you all in a week or so...I'm SOOOOO EXCITED!

Warm & Cozy...

Snowhaven has to be one of the BEST snow-themed paper packet CTMH has ever had!

The addition of the bold color of Cranberry and the darkness of the Black creates a non-traditional option for your snow pictures.

I saw some chevron paper and wanted to re-create using CTMH paper...it wasn't that hard either!

------------------------------------------------------
I added Snowhaven Complements and Snowhaven Assortment (those cute little White Epoxy Diamonds) and a few Silver Sequins and Red Sparkles...

Home Decor in Your Stash - UYSBH...

Welcome to this month's UYSBH.  This month we are creating Home Decor items with stuff we have in our stash!

If you're coming from Janet's Blog, you're on the right track...keep on hopping 'till you've visited everyone...shouldn't take long, there are only 4 of us this month!

I made this 8-1/2" x 11" wall hanging designed to resemble one of those painted panel signs that are so popular right now.

-----------------------------------------------
The Wood-Grain Paper is from Timberline PP which is retired but I've hoarded...lol.  The pumpkin is a stamped image I stamped a month ago to use on something else and never got around to doing it.  The stamp set is also retired from CTMH.

The Fall Phrases come from PPPR and were cut a week ago for one of my DT posts but I went with THIS instead!

To get a realistic look, I adhered the wood-grain B&T on top of 2 sheets of Cardstock so when I cut the strips and adhered them to my base cardstock, there would be some dimension. I would've got the same effect if I used Thin 3D-Foam Tape but I didn't want to waste it on such a large area.

Here's some helpful tips...

Let's Get Stuffed Tag...

****EDITED**** I made the Top 3!!!...head on over to see the winners!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Craftin Desert Diva's are having a link up party specifically for TAGS!!!

I won this cute little CDD Stamp Set, Let's Get Stuffed, last month so I decided to ink it up and play along!

Here's my tag...
------------------------------------------------
I used acetate for the base of my tag...

-------------------------------------
My turkey is colored with ShinHan Twin Markers, cut out using the FREE svg that I got when I purchased my CDD stamp set AND became a member of the CDD FB Gallery and pop-dotted with CTMH's Thin 3D-Foam Tape!

----------------------------------
I took tow images...the corn and the "Let's Get Stuffed" and combined them by cutting my corn and layering the sentiment on top...

------------------------------------------
The tree trunks are from Season of Thanks from CTMH and they are stamped using CTMH's Pigment Inks...WARNING...they take a LONG time to dry and aren't the cleanest thing to clean up.  I ended up adding another piece of acetate on top. And...I like the "squished" look...lol

Thanks for stopping by!

Don't forget to head on over to Craftin Desert Diva's Blog and see what other tags have been l inked! You have 'till the 23rd to link up your tag or project using tags for a chance to win some pretty cool prizes!

Gobble, Gobble while you Wobble...

I'm sooooo excited about this card!!!

As soon as I saw this cut-file from PPPR, I knew I had to have him!  This is a standard-size card (base also a file from PPPR) and he is definitely the focal point...I used CTMH's retired Textured Cardstock for the card base as well as the majority of his body!  I added some Kraft and some Brown Glitter Paper for some shine! The Glacier (Blue) B&T is from the Pathfinding Collection.

-------------------------------------------------
Here's a detail shot...I took a blue ShinHan marker and added some color to his eye-balls.  The "You're such a Turkey" came from one of Lisa's stamps over at Pretty Cute Stamps!
-----------------------------------------------------
This turkey is EXTRA SPECIAL....he really WOBBLES!!!

---------------------------------------
How does he "wobble" you ask...by using one of CTMH's Self Adhesive Springs ...it makes this card and this little turkey even cuter!

Here are the PPPR files I used...
