Kaboom Blog Hop...

Thanks for joining us again this month for the SOTM Blog Hop...this time featuring over 50 Consultants.

Here's a peek at the stamp set...it's so Summery!!!

If you've come from Susan's Blog, you're on the right track!  Keep hopping around 'till you get back to where you started.  If you're starting here, I'll see you when you get back :0).  If you get lost along the way, Melinda has a full list of bloggers {{{here}}}.

I went with a RED, WHITE & BLUE theme for this stamp set but with words like "Celebrate" and "Party" and "FUN", you can do whatever your little heart desires.

I used Kraft, White Daisy & Honey Cardstock together with Timberline Paper Packet

-------------------------------
Here are some close-ups and a peek at the inside...

-----------------------------------
Here's what the inside looks like...put the red glitter trim under the Honey Star border for a little sparkle...after I stamped the "let's Celebrate" on White Daisy Cardstock, I took my micro-tip scissors and cut around the image leave about 1/16"...it looks more finished this way and is harder to mess up the cut.
--------------------------------------
Sometimes I don't want the starkness of some of the colors so I add White Daisy Ink using the direct-to-paper distressing technique.  Here's a close-up and a look at the difference...(click on the image to see it bigger)...can you tell a difference!?!?!
Thanks for hopping by!  Your next stop is Mary's Blog...go leave her some LOVE!

There are only a few days left to get your FREE download of these adorable and versatile images.

You can use them on cards, layouts, tags...the possibilities are endless.

So Very Nauti(cool) with H2H...

H2H has chosen a GOOD challenge this week!  It's all about water, sunshine, anchors and anything else that the word "Nauti(cool)" brings to mind.

I've been wanting to use some of the FREE cuts from my NEW Cricut Design Space and this anchor is one of them!

---------------------------------------
I chose to use CTMH's Free to be Me paper packet since it'll be gone in less than a week!  I love how Summery the colors are and the embossed cardstock is simply FABULOUS!!!  I pop-dotted the card front with 3D Foam Tape so I could add some gold sequins underneath.

--------------------------------------
Here's a peek at the inside...I used the retired Tommy Boy WOTG Stamp Set.  I added some more gold sequins to the inside for a little 'somethin-somethin'...

Thanks for stopping by!

Don't forget to head over to the H2H Blog and link up your Nauti(cool) projects...we can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

Use Your Stash Blog Hop - Flowers...

I'm sooooo excited to be the starting point for this month's USE YOUR STASH Blog Hop!  The Lord knows that I have TONS of stuff in my stash that I need to be using...don't we all!

There are ten bloggers participating this month which should give you lots of ideas for your stash!  After you've seen what I have to share, you'll hop on over to the next blog and keep going around 'till you get back here!

Are you ready to see what I grabbed from my stash...

I chose to use one of my FAVORITE retired paper packets from CTMH, Emporium.  I love this paper because, at the time, I had three boys.  It's always hard to find flowery patterns that aren't too feminine.  This paper packet, with it's Cocoa, Crystal Blue and Sweet Leaf, is flowery yet masculine.

I've been wanting to make one of the "Box Cards" that are so popular.  I bought my svg file from SVG Cuts...super GREAT deal and soooo easy to cut with the NEW Cricut Explore and Design Space!

Here is the card semi-folded...it's designed to fold flat and fit in an envelope (svg envelope file comes with the purchase) and can be mailed, if needed.

-------------------------------------------
Here's the card all folded out...I added some of my Opaque stash to the centers of the flowers for dimension!  The "happy birthday" comes from my go-to stamp set, Belated Birthday...it's a MUST HAVE for Birthday Cards and for procrastinators like me...helps to have that little "belated" insert I can use if needed...lol
------------------------------------
Here's a side view of the flower layers....
---------------------------------------
Here's a top side view to show you how it comes together!

Now hop on over to Wendy's Blog and see what product from her STASH she's used up!

Banners with H2H....

This week over at H2H Challenges, we want to see your BANNER projects!  Banners to me can mean several different things...I chose to showcase a banner made from a zip-strip from Balloon Ride.

-----------------------------------------------------
These are both Easel Cards using an svg file I purchased and cut using my Cricut Explore (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that thing!).  Cutting an easel card has never been EASIER!  The Crystal Blue pieces are from Balloon Ride and the flower is cut from Skylark.  I added Colonial White and Kraft Cardstocks.

---------------------------------------------
I also cut the word "Mother" from the Brown & Tan Glitter Paper...it adds a little sparkle to the card.  A few retired Heavenly Blue Sequins also give this card the pizazz that every Mother deserves!

------------------------------------------
Here's a second card...no banner on this one...wanted to show that Sorbet-inked Canvas Badge Button (sadly retired but I stocked up!).  I also copied Amie Kiger's Glitter twisties...LOVE this little detail!   This one has the "Mother" on the inside and I still added sequins.

-----------------------------------------
Here's a close-up of the flower...LOVE layering all the cuts!

---------------------------------
Thanks for stopping by...don't forget to check out the other DT members and their Banner projects.  And...don't forget to link up your next Banner Project to the H2H Challenge before May 31st!

Simply Inspired by Free To Be Me Blog Hop...

Welcome to this month's Blog Hop featuring CTMH's National Scrapbook Day Special, Free to Be Me...you get this CUTE paper packet for only $5 with a qualifying order.

If you've come from Dana's Blog, you're probably still in AWE of her project but focus...you'll need to keep on hopping 'till you get back around to where you started.

For my project, I wanted to do an envelope/card combo I saw on Pinterest.  I used CTMH Kraft envelopes that I got for SUPER cheap here.

------------------------------------
To open you just slide the Baker's Twine off the envelope and pull the right side...the WONDERFUL thing about this gold polka dot Vellum is that you can put glue dots behind the dots to adhere...so tape doesn't show through!
----------------------------
The card inside is postcard style so it doesn't open...card and envelope are standard size but you could totally do this for any size and shape of card!  I used my FAVORITE alphabet Hopscotch...such a versatile fun and funky stamp set!

Thanks for hopping by...keep on going to Diana's Blog and see what she has to share!
