Ice Cream & Cake with H2H...

Well...after many years to count, I am stepping down from my DT role at Heart2Heart Challenges!!!

This is my last post and I'm so glad that it gets to be all about CAKE (and ice cream in my situation!!!)!

I made a card with this month's Stamp of the Month from CTMH...

Here's a close-up...I colored my ice cream pops with ShinHan Markers and add a white gel pen for highlights! And of course, I had to add some gold sequins...which are retiring soon so you'd better go get them while you can!

Here's a peek at the inside...I kept it simple since the outside is so vibrant!

I reached way back in my photos from a few years ago and found these pictures and this paper and decided to make it a go.

Am I the only one that likes layouts BEFORE you put pictures on them?!?! I think it comes from years and years of preparing workshops and scrapbook kits for others to put pictures on...lol

I took the sticky off these title stickers by using baby powder then used Thin 3-D Foam Tape to pop them off the page!

Totally Turtle Birthday Cake...

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL weekend!!! We went to a Birthday Party where these little gift boxes were a HIT!

It's my turn to post over on the Craftin' Desert Divas Blog...what better stamp set to use for this than Totally Turtle for this one...

Each box could've been decorated sooooo much more but this was for an 8-yr old so I didn't want to put too much effort in something that would probably wind up torn up to get the gum, candy and gift card inside...

Here's a closeup of the cute little turtle...the sentiment actually says "Happy belated Birthday" but I masked the "belated" out...LOVE that about clear stamps...makes it sooo easy to customize!

I just cut a bunch of scraps of B&T, stamped the images I wanted and decorated with Shimmer Trim, Silver Sequins, Mini-Staples and some Flamingo Dots.

Confetti Wishes - NEW Product Blog Hop...

When I saw this NEW Paper Packet, Confetti Wishes, in the Annual Inspirations book, I knew I had to scrap L's 2nd Birthday Party!!!

I started off with this fabulous sketch from SOUS

And here's my take on the sketch...the photo is a little off on the colors.  I guess the Whisper (light gray) background Cardstock muted the colors a little...
