Another Teacher Clipboard

This clipboard is much like the others except I used the container that CTMH packages it's paper piercer and needles in as a pen holder. I also covered the post-it note section with our textured cardstock that I sanded for dimension. The teacher seemed to LOVE it and I hope it keeps her as organized as she hopes it will.

Merry CHRISTmas everyone!!!

Well I guess the book's out of the bag....

I usually try to surprise my customers and give them NO visual hints until the NEW Idea Book unvailing but since a lot of consultants have already posted pictures of our beautiful 2009 Spring Idea Book (available January 1st), I thought I'd post a visual teaser to keep you guys happy for a few weeks.

Let me also add that CTMH has pulled out all the stops on this one...the embellishments are to die for, the new paper packets are gorgeous and there are some MUST HAVE stamp sets. Start saving your pennies, girls...you'll be wanting to use them.

Also, don't forget that I like to play Santa this time of year. If your significant other needs some help in finding that perfect gift, send him my way and I'll hook him up with a Gift Card just your size!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

I hope that everyone has a WONDERFUL, PLENTIFUL, THANKFUL Day! Let us all pause and thank God for every single thing we are thankful for. As I look around at my mother and father, my sister and brother, my children, my QT and his family...I thank God for all the LOVE that one day can hold. I will eat and think of the many people who don't have food or a place to gather with family and friends. I will say a little prayer for them today and throughout the upcoming Holiday Season.

God Bless and Thank You!!!!

Sarsaparilla Sympathy Card

It's always hard for me to do sympathy cards because I never know how to portray the right feeling. I pulled out Sarsaparilla for this one because there's something about the calmness of the Twilight and Barn Red that just "soothes" me. I hope it does the same for the recipient.

Magic Moments Shining Star

This is a card using CTMH's Magic Moments Paper Packet and Shining Star Stamp Set and is also my very 1st "sketch challenge". I'm one of those secret lurkers who checks out all the sketch challenges but never actually gets around to participating...I chose to do this challenge from Erin G because I just LOVED the rounded corner at the top.

This card is also very similar to 'Lucky Three' Originals concept from CTMH so I used it to swap at the San Antonio Regional Celebration. I was unable to go at the last minute but my DEAR sideline and upline agreed to take my swaps and bring back my goodies for me (that's a whole different story which includes a SUPER FABULOUS NEW STAMP SET!!!)

Below is the sketch of the challenge and under that is my rendition...

All products are CTMH:
Magic Moments Paper Packet
Shining Star Stamp Set

As most of you know, Saturday was National Card-Making Day. Here's some of what I got done. Other projects will be under separate posts...

The new HOT thing is partially embossed cards using the Cuttlebug. I'm not a CTMH purist but I do try to find a way to replicate something using as much product as I can...simply because I LOVE CTMH PRODUCT!!! Here are a couple of cards using just my stylus and cutter...

Ribbon: Olive Organdy and Black Ribbon Rounds
Stamp Set: Business Builder Set
Ink: Goldrush and Black

My baby is turning ONE....

EDIT....Here are some more pictures of my baby's birthday party.

The goodie bags were made using Topiary, Black and White Daisy Cardstock cut into various size circles then adhered to the front of a white paper lunch bag. The one with the pink bow is for my niece, CJW (she was the only girl in attendance).

This is a picture of the cake...or cupcakes...depending on how you look at it. I will say that this was the easiest thing EVER. We just pulled apart the cupcakes, put them on a plate with ice cream and that was it. It's the neatest thing since sliced bread (as Miss SG would say)...

This is his high chair before it got green icing all over it....the party hats were plain so I added the frog and a name on each one...again, my niece's frog had a pink bow in her hair (as you can see by the goodie bags).

And, finally....here is TK not liking his hat, us singing happy birthday to him (after the hat was removed so I could get a good picture) and him with green icing all over his face.

Original Post....9/25
Here is the invitation for TK's 1st Birthday Party...the new hottest thing is cupcake cakes so his cake is going to be in the shpe of a frog but be cupcakes instead of sheet cake. I'll take pictures of it on Saturday (hopefully) and post it as an 'edit' to this post.

All products Close To My Heart....

Annotations - October SOTM

Here is a 3x3 card of sorts that I did for a SOTM swap using Annotations. The open deminsions are 12x3. I also used one of our NEW Paper Packets, Perfect Day...it's become one of my favorites!!!
