Choose Happy Blog Hop...

Welcome to this month's SOTM Blog Hop featuring Choose Happy stamp set...

If you've come from Maureen's Blog, you're on the right track...keep hopping 'till you back to where you started!

I gave up making cards for Lent so you'll only be seeing layouts on my blog 'till Easter!!! I did it to challenge myself to get more scrapbooking done as well as cut down on the number of cards I've been hoarding...lol.

Here's a look at my layout...I used one of the frames that comes in the set to random stamp a piece of cardstock with versa mark then embossed the images and sponges with ink...I used Seaside Paper Packet because I love the colors!!!
--------------------------------------------------
Here's a close up of the embossed frames. the "Me & You" comes from the Artfully Sent Cricut Collection...
---------------------------------------------------------
I also stamped some of the square frames with Cocoa Ink and cut out as an embellishment...the word "memories" comes from one of the zip-strips of the Seaside B&T...

Don't forget...you have until March 31st to get your hands on this HAPPY stamp set...here's a look at it.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

It's now time to hop on over to Stefani's Blog and see what she has to share!

Anyways...my children have always LOVED salads and we got Ichibans "to go" one night several years ago and I was able to capture my son's pure JOY while eating this yummy salad!

---------------------------------------------
I used my Gossamer Blue February Kit for almost everything on this layout...LOVE these wood veneer thickers!
-------------------------------------------
Little wooden camera is from Frosted Designs and the glitter arrows are from CTMH!

Here's a look at the sketch! We'd love for you to play along...any product line...any photos!!! And...if you're not a layout-maker, we have a card sketch too! Check it out!!!

This week we are challenging you to HAND MAKE your flowers and link up your projects for a chance to WIN some Frosted Designs loot!!!

Here's my layout - I would've done a card but I gave up card-making for Lent (in addition to GIVING AWAY cards)...so it's only Layouts 'till Easter!

I've had these photos printed and waiting for me to do something with...so why not add them to this flowery layout!

------------------------------------------------
I used the Sweet Love Kit for February - you can still get your hands on it {{{here}}}...and I threw in some Heidi Swapp Glitter Alpha Stickers for my title
------------------------------------------------------
Here's a look at my flowers...all cut using my NEW Cricut Explore Air and the Mother's Day Bouquet Cartridge...all the flowers were cut from Colonial White Cardstock and inked up with sponge daubers in varying colors that complement each other. After sponging, I just bent the leaves using various tools to create some dimension...

Hello Sunshine...

I love Paper Smooches and their fresh stamp sets!!!

This one is a FREE digital one I've had for quite some time and had to break it out for their Guest DT Spot...

----------------------------------------
I pop-dotted the sun for dimension and traced around one of the "hello sunshine" with a ShinHan marker...

Spider Man Themed Birthday...

Welcome to Decorate to Celebrate Challenge #94 where ANYTHING GOES except a card...if you want to post a card, make sure it's a shaped card or 3D!

If you have little ones that LOVE Spider Man...you'll love how easy these invites and cupcakes are!

I started with some simple circle-cut cards that I decorated with ovals for the eyes (two ovals - one black and one white - cut in half) and glitter web...

------------------------------------------
The inside is just as simple...typed up all the details on the computer and printed...matted it to add interest and hand-drew doodle lines around it and added little spider webs and spiders here and there...
--------------------------------------------------
Here are the cupcakes...and I'm no baker!!! It's not that I can't, it's just that I usually run out of time! These came together sooooo quickly. I baked the cupcakes and iced with red icing then took some royal icing (recipe found on the internet) in a piping bag and drew the spiderweb on some wax paper...stuck it in the freezer for 30 minutes, maybe then peeled them off and added them to the cupcakes! I also had some plastic spiders left over from Halloween...added those as well!

See how EASY it is to decorate for your next celebration!!!

I chose mist & water colors.

Here's a close-up of the embellishments at the top as well as my mist splatters and watercoloring...

Here's a peek at the inside...LOVE those little telephones!

Soulmate...

It's my turn to post over at Stuck on U Sketches for the Key To My Heart Die-Cut Challenge...you can use any thing heart, key, love related and it must include die-cuts of some sort!

Let's take a look at my project...I started with the sketch from Pretty Little Studio and took elements from the sketch that I liked (stitching, multiples of the same shape and title placement)...
-------------------------------------------------------------
I used several files for this layout...Miss Kate Cuttables for the hearts and the title and PPPR for the heart lock and key. Paper is from CTMH's HeartStrings collection as well as For Always (retired).

--------------------------------------------------
Almost all of my layout have hidden journalling...this allows the layout to be uninterrupted by words and handwritten notes...plus, some times my journalling gets a little personal and I only want my family to read it....know what I mean?
-----------------------------------------------
At nothing screams LOVE more than Red Shimmer Trim...by adding the Chevron Punch along the stitched border, I was able to incorporate a little bit of bling without it being overpowering! I used my Stitch Guide to hand stitch the edges...a little tedious but well worth it, if you ask me!
I hope you'll take time to play along with our Die-Cut challenge by creating your own Key to my Heart project and link up {{{here}}}.

You can check out the Pretty Little Studio sketch I used here on my Pinterest Board (Layouts - 1 Page)
