Silver and Gold Technique Blog Hop...

Thank you for visiting my blog on this GLORIOUS Monday evening...the Monday before the Monday before Thanksgiving to be exact.

I am last on the list so if you're coming from Tamara Sandwisch's Blog, you're on the right track AND you're almost done if you started from the beginning. Don't worry if you didn't, this order will take you all around until you get back to where you started. If you're starting here, WELCOME! A complete list of hoppers can be found on Melissa's Blog

So...I took this challenge as I could choose between Silver & Gold so I chose to use our Silver Foil Patterns Paper (online only) coupled with the wintery Wonderland Collection...

------------------------------------------------
Here is a closeup of that SILVER FOIL PATTERN...it adds that extra SHINE to this layout!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Can you see those tiny Snowflake Loose Sequins and those snowflakes from the Wonderland Sticker Sheet and Wonderland Scrapbooking Stamp Set...LOVE all the layers and dimension (even that snow flurry at the top right of the photo)...
-----------------------------------------------
I added a felt tree from the Wonderland Felt Shapes on top of the stamped tree/title combo from the Wonderland Scrapbooking Stamp Set...

Thanks for stopping by...head on over to Melissa's Blog to continue the hop if you started somewhere in the middle.

You can check out the process video for this layout and watch how I added color to the Silver Foil Patten Paper...

12 Days of Christmas Memories - Day 6: Silver & Gold...

I'm back with another layout and YouTube video for the 12 Days of Christmas Memories.

Today is Day 6: Silver & Gold and I have a 1-Page layout featuring our oldest son and his girlfriend at a SUPER FANCY Christmas last year. The silver and gold embody the memory PERFECTLY in my opinion.

Here's a look at the layout I made followed by a link to the process video on YouTube.

Don't forget about my 12 Days of Christmas GOODIES...today is a Package of 6x4 Flip Flaps! You can find the blog post with all the details {{{HERE}}}

For this layout, I used both the Silver and Gold Foil Pattern Paper Packets. I also threw in some Comfort & Joy patterned paper, PML Cards and LOTS of gold embellishments...

-------------------------------------------------------
Here's a closeup of the Comfort & Joy Gold Shapes (retired) and the Gold Glitter Gems...a MUST-HAVE in my embellishment box...
--------------------------------------------------------
I used the Solar Flare Stickles Glitter Gel to add some texture to the background...I love how those little stars in the glitter gel play so well with the Gold Glitter stars from the Comfort & Joy line. That Christmas Tree Patterned Paper is from the Mix-In Paper (Nov-Dec) and that little "Making Spirits Bright" pennant cutout is from the Comfort & Joy PML Cards...

Thank you so much for stopping by on this 6th Day of Christmas. Here is the process video so you can go see how it all came together...

Trust the Lord with Blue Belle and H2H...

Welcome to NOVEMBER, full of pumpkins, changing of the leaves and HOPEFULLY cooler temperatures!

A new week also means a new Heart 2 Heart Challenge - this one featuring CTMH's Color of the Year - BLUE BELLE.

Let's take a look at my card, totally inspired by my weekend guest spot on the Craft Roulette show where the luck of the wheel determines the parameter of your project. Friday night, we spun the wheel and the following parameters were chosen:

* Project: Card featuring a heart
* Colors: Primary (neutrals are FREE)
* Element: Pumpkin
* Random: Sanding

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I started off with our Silver Polka Dot Paper from the Silver Foil Patterns Paper Packet then sponged Blue Belle Ink all over it using my Mini-Blending Tool...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's a close-up of the Scandinavian Pumpkin stamp set I used (ONLY $3,95...such a GREAT price) and the sentiment from our NEW Trust in the Lord stamp set. For the Red part for my "primary colors" requirement, I used some red thread from my stash...
-------------------------------------------------
And...here's a look at the inside with the rest of the sentiment as well as the "sanded" part of my card...I brought all the primary colors to the inside of the card as well, using stamps from the Trust in the Lord stamp set (such a FABULOUS set to have)...

Thank you for stopping by!

Please head on over to the H2H Challenge Blog to see what the other DT Members came up with as well as PLAY ALONG with us! You have until the end of November 2020 to submit your project!
