I'm back with another layout and YouTube video for the 12 Days of Christmas Memories.
Today is Day 8 - PRESENTS and my layout today shows the facial expressions of our boys several years back, as they opened their presents.
Here's a look at the layout I made followed by a link to the process video on YouTube.

I'm back with another layout and YouTube video for the 12 Days of Christmas Memories.
Today is Day 6: Silver & Gold and I have a 1-Page layout featuring our oldest son and his girlfriend at a SUPER FANCY Christmas last year. The silver and gold embody the memory PERFECTLY in my opinion.

Don't forget about my 12 Days of Christmas GOODIES...today is a Package of 6x4 Flip Flaps! You can find the blog post with all the details {{{HERE}}}
For this layout, I used both the Silver and Gold Foil Pattern Paper Packets. I also threw in some Comfort & Joy patterned paper, PML Cards and LOTS of gold embellishments...
I used the Solar Flare Stickles Glitter Gel to add some texture to the background...I love how those little stars in the glitter gel play so well with the Gold Glitter stars from the Comfort & Joy line. That Christmas Tree Patterned Paper is from the Mix-In Paper (Nov-Dec) and that little "Making Spirits Bright" pennant cutout is from the Comfort & Joy PML Cards...
Thank you so much for stopping by on this 6th Day of Christmas. Here is the process video so you can go see how it all came together...
I'm back with another layout and YouTube video for the 12 Days of Christmas Memories.
Today is Day 5: Christmas Tree and I have a 1-Page layout featuring our daughter sitting in front of the Christmas Tree when she was little. Like all children, she was mesmerized by the ornaments and the lights...I could watch her all evening just looking at that tree.
Here's a look at the layout I made followed by a link to the process video on YouTube.
Don't forget about my 12 Days of Christmas GOODIES...today is FIVE GOLDEN THINGS! You can find the blog post with all the details {{{HERE}}}

I'm so sad that this video series is coming to an end! Good news is that I have more Christmas Cards made than I ever have before this early in the Season!
Here are some closeups...I love how the White Daisy Ink and clear sparkle splatter looks! And...I've been using the heck out of STICKLES! They are such an affordable way to jazz up your projects (scrapbook layouts too!) and they last a LONG TIME!
I loved adding that Evergreen Glitter Paper behind the Scarlet Poinsettia leaves...just brings a subtle bling to the card!
---------------------------------------------
And...if you're questioning where the idea to use Black Cardstock came from, check out this SNEAK PEEK at our NEW collection coming to my website November 1st...
Here it is the last week of October and my mind has been pre-occupied with CHRISTMAS CARDS. Sooo, for the H2H Not-so-basic Black Challenge this week, I grabbed some things off my craft table and made this SPARKLY card featuring some not-so-basic Black Glitter Cardstock and our NEW Black Ore Cardstock!
I used the Layered Floral Background Thin Cuts for this card...LOVE IT!!! The top layer is the Pearl Ore Cardstock and that red peeking behind the layers as well as the "thanks" in the Thanks Thin Cuts is from the Comfort & Joy Paper Packet (retires at the end of this month so you'd better so grab it if Traditional Christmas paper is your thing). I had to back the "thanks" with something to make it stand out so I pulled out my trusty tissue paper that I use on my scrapbook layouts...it adds that perfect barrier between the sentiment and that GORGESOU background. I also added some Black Diamond Stickles to make it not-so-basic...
And...you know how I love TO SAVE all the itty bitty pieces...well, in this case it paid off for the inside of this card...
Thank you for stopping by...head on over to my YouTube channel to watch this card come together REALLY QUICK and see how those Layered Floral Background Thin Cuts get layered on top of each other.
And don't forget to head on over to the H2H Challenge Blog to see what my other DT Members have to share for this week's challenge. You have until the end of October to join us by grabbing some of your favorite CTMH products to make a Not-so-Basic Black card or layout!
Our CTMH Team had a weekend full of training and one of the exercises challenged us to find a piece of artwork in the NEW November-December 2020 Supplemental Catalog and use it as a starting point to recreate with another Collection.
I chose to use Comfort & Joy and LOVE how it turned out!!!
