Balloon Talk Blog Hop...

I cannot believe it's already April but I'm SOOOO excited to finally get to show off this SOTM, Balloon Talk!

If you've come from Teresa's Blog, you're on the right track...keep on hopping around 'till you get back to where you started!  If you get lost along the way, you can always go {{{here}}} to pick up where you left off.

I love perusing other stamping/papercrafting companies and trying to recreate what they have with CTMH products.  This card stems from that!  I've seen several cute cell-phone dies out there and KNEW I could make that using CTMH Cricut Collections and the CCR or the new Design Space.

What better stamp set to use with this iPhone-remake than Balloon Talk!

--------------------------------------------
I used more Paper Fundamentals sponged with Black Ink for the iPhone screen...and pop-dotted the 'ballons' with 3D-Foam Tape...
---------------------------------------------
And...I finished off the inside

Thanks for checking it out!  Remember you have the entire month of April to get your hands on this SUPER CUTE and versatile stamp set!  And...with a qualified order, it can be yours for only $5!

Now hop on over to Wanda's Blog and see what she's created!

Ivy Lane Sketch Challenge...

This week is a little different for H2H...we are challenging you to make something using the sketch below to inspire you!

I chose to make a card but this would also be a cute layout...might have to try that when I have time!

Here's my card using Ivy Lane WOTG...
------------------------------
You could do so much to this card but I chose to keep it simple and just add some bling to the focal piece and to pop-dot it for dimension...
--------------------------------
Here's a peek at the inside...

Thanks for stopping by...I hope you'll play along with H2H this week!  Since it's the end of the month, you'll have 'till the end of April to play along with this sketch!

Here's a look at the Ivy Lane WOTG containing the stamp set I used (you can ONLY get by purchasing the WOTG)...

You can see other stuff I've made with this stamp set and paper packet {{{here}}}...

My life...

For my husband's birthday earlier this month, I made the most wonderful card!

It's wonderful because it's for the love of my life AND all the little details that just seemed to come together!

The colors in the card are to die for and the little embossed hearts on the background cardstock were easy-peasy!  I took the Bamboo Paper Fundamentals and sponged Ruby Ink all over it...layered some Black Glitter Paper and a smidgen of Honey Triangles Washi Tape.

------------------------------------
The focal piece is pop-dotted for extra dimension...I stamped the "Y" and the "U" using the NEW Marquee Uppercase E-Size stamp set.  LOVE this font and very EASY to cut out!  The Heart is stamped using a promotional stamp set from last year.

---------------------------------
And....I have to be honest!  I've used PML (Picture My Life) more for cards than I have layouts...that's okay though because you get MULTIPLE cards per packet so I don't have to hoard collect them!  This is the other side of the PML card I used...

-------------------------------------------
This is the PML side I used and added the "You" to the bottom...

LollyDoodle Layout Workshop...

LOVE me some LollyDoodle and so did my girls!  We created these two 2-page layouts using this ADORABLE paper packet!

I got the inspiration for my layouts here and here...Pinterest is a wonderful thing!

And...I used Studio J to design all my layouts when I'm coming up with Workshops!  I used to have to do everything by hand...not anymore since they added a feature where when you add a text/journalling/photo well, you can tell it what size you want it.

Here's a look at what my Studio J layouts looked like...made it so EASY to then cut my pieces and put them together!
----------------------------------------
And here's the "real thing"....

-----------------------------------------
Here are some close-ups of the first layouts...I threw in some Flamingo Dots for dimension and a little bling!

Here are some close-ups of the other layouts and those CUTE little owls!!!

Baby Girl Ariana Card...

I needed a baby card for a close family friend who is having a baby girl.  The baby's nursery is going to be a little shabby chic and CTMH's Ariana paper screams Shabby Chic...to me!

I also knew I wanted to use Jen's Deconstructed Sketch No. 143...

 -------------------------------------
Here's my take on the sketch...

 -----------------------------------------
Here's a side view and a peek at the inside...I used Perfect Fit-Frames (each shape from this stamp set goes with a frame cut by using Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge - you can get FREE if you sign up to be a CTMH Consultant in April...ask me more!!!) and a CTMH retired stamp set, Sweet Baby.

 -----------------------------------------
I also lined an envelope for the mother-to-be...this picture doesn't show it but I used one of the zip strips from the B&T to add along the bottom of the flap.

 ------------------------------------------
And...here's the inside using the sentiment from one of CTMH's Retired Stamp Sets, Baby Impressions...

Here's a look at the CTMH products I used...

Emboss It Blog Hop...

Welcome to a blog hop featuring CTMH's NEW Embossing Folders!

We have over 25 Consultants participating in this hop so there will be tons of inspiration for you to oogle over!  If you've come from Lalia's Blog, you're on the right track!  If you get lost along the way, you can go here to get back on track!

I've had this embossed piece of Lagoon Cardstock laying on my table since I first got my NEW Quatrefoil Embossing Folder.  It's been BEGGING me to use it so that's exactly what I did.  Coupled with some Skylark B&T and some Ariana B&T, it's now where it belongs!
-----------------------------------
Just like this card, I inked up the embossed image using Pansy Purple Ink (retired)...
-----------------------------------
Here's a side view and a peek at the inside.  I used one of my favorite stamps from CTMH created just for me since I'm always late at sending out Birthday Wishes...Belated Birthday.

Thanks for stopping by!  Don't forget to hop on over to Gina's Blog to see what she has to show off!
