I've been stalking and admiring all the "crooked" cards that are popping up everywhere. I've even managed to make one or two.
When I saw that this week's FMS (Freshly Made Sketches) was "crooked," I just had to try it out! I had CTMH's Timberline Collection on my table so I just grabbed it and went to work.
Here's a look at the FMS #126
-----------------------------------------------
Here's my take on the sketch using Timberline, Kraft Cardstock and our NEW Embossing Folders...
----------------------------------------------
I love how embossed images looked all inked up...these dots are inked using White Daisy. And...I've been having so much FUN cutting up the Timberline Complements! This cute little arrow border is a cardstock-weight sticker...our Non-Stick Micro-Tip Scissors are AWESOME for cutting sticky things!
-------------------------------------
I pop-dotted the "You're so HOT" Stickease by applying baby powder to the back to take away the stickiness then used 3D-Foam Tape to add dimension...
-----------------------------------------
Here's the inside...LOVED coupling the "Stay Awhile" with the "You're so HOT"...lol. I plan on giving this to my husband as a "just because" card! The bottom border is left-overs from the front diagonals I cut off...LOVE using those little scraps!
What a fun card! I'm loving the punny sentiment! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteTotally adorable! I love how the scraps embellish the inside.
