Last week we revealed a NEW SKETCH over on the Let's Scrap Sketches Blog and I finally getting around to sharing the layout here.

Like I do often, I combined the two-page sketch into a one-page layout...showcasing 2 of my long-time #besties. You know women, we have a girlfriends that are different things to us but we rarely find one, let alone TWO, that can be EVERYTHING to us. These girls are THOSE kind of one-stop-shop!

Here's my layout using CTMH's Swan Lake Collection

I used a retired chevron bag from CTMH to be my journalling pocket. I love to hide my journalling for several reasons and these PML cards are perfect for noting the small things (or in this instance, a WHOLE BUNCH of things) hidden away so not to take away from the photos and the embellishments!

Merry & Bright City Sidewalks...

I know it's only November but CTMH's new Christmas-themed paper line, City Sidewalks, has me swooning over all things Wintry!

I sat down with City Sidewalks paper & Complements and the NEW City Sidewalks Digital Cricut Collection and created this card!

I cut the car plus separated the images and cut 2 more of just the car base then used my Thin 3D-Foam Tape to create a lot of dimension. The "sun" is actually a silver star from the Complements and I used my Marigold ShinHan Marker to color it a gold color. ****the Willow sun rays*** actually happened by mistake...when I stamped the tree border from Woodland Wishes, my block accidentally got inked up and stamped off on my White Daisy avoid re-cutting the circle and re-stamping, I
Here's a look at the layers and dimension...

To Create the lattice piece I cut 2 of the diagonal image and turned one of them backwards and adhered down....

CTMH Paper Blog Hop - City Sidewalks...

Welcome to this month's paper focus Blog Hop featuring CITY SIDEWALKS

If you've come from Melissa's Blog, you're in the right spot...just keep on hopping 'till you see all the blogs...there's only a few of us so it shouldn't take long!

I wanted to make a card using the City Sidewalks Digital Cricut Collection and I love how this simple card turned out...
I added some layers to the wreath by cutting out the solid wreath 2 times and using some Thin 3-D Foam Tape to adhere the layers. The "J" and the "Y" are cut using the Artistry Cricut Collection...I added a Red Enamel Gem to the center of the bow for some dimension and extra bling...

Pumpkin Carving 2012...

It's time for another FABULOUS sketch from the girls over at Let's Scrap Sketches!!!

So....the thing I LOVE about sketches is that you can make them your own by:
  • flipping them
  • rearranging elements
  • leaving off some elements
  • making a 2-page layout a 1-page layout
I did several of the above on this one...a layout documenting Halloween 2012...

Pumpkin Painting...

Welcome to this month's BLOG HOPS WITH HEART! This month the theme is TRICKS & TREATS and boy do I have a treat for you!

If you're coming from Wendy's Blog, you're on the right track!!!

I am sharing a one-page layout I made using the Jeepers Creepers Collection - this layout will commemorate our tradition of "pumpkin painting". Each kid gets a pumpkin...we usually only carve one and paint the rest! I can't wait to take pictures this weekend of this "activity" and get the photos scrapped...

I used the Artistry Cricut Collection to spell the word "painting" then cut it out of one of the PML Cards that come with the Jeepers Creepers Paper Packet...adding eyeballs from the Jeepers Creepers Assortment was a FUN added touch!
I used my Artbooking Cricut Collection and some Black Glitter Paper to cut the spider web. I backed it with plain 'ol tissue paper & some thread tangles...
I had to throw in some CUTE Washi from the Jeepers Creepers line..

Spooky CUTE...

Well, one more week and CUTE little monsters, princesses and super heroes will be knocking on doors begging for candy!

One of my childhood go-to costumes was a mummy...mainly because it could be made from sheets that probably needed to be thrown away anyway and it was fast and easy! Am I right!?!?!

It's my week to post over at the PPPR Blog and this card reminds me of such costumes...

I used the Movie Monster 3 Cutting Files and the All Hallow's Eve Pattern Pack Digital Paper...I also broke out my label maker for a simple sentiment...LOOK AT those layers on this CUTE mummy!!!

Thanks for stopping by...I hope you are enjoying the crisp air and maybe painting or carving some pumpkins, if you celebrate Halloween!

Hop on over to the PPPR Blog to check out the files I used and go grab them from the PPPR Store and make your own SPOOKY CUTE project!

Donut smiles...

I'm so excited to post this layout...not because it's my best, necessarily, but because:
  • It took me out of my comfort zone of clean lines and perfect placement
  • I used techniques that I have been wanting to use for MONTHS
  • I finally did some thread "tangles" - I've done them before but the projects haven't made it to the blog yet
  • I used photos that I took on a whim, printed right after and have sat on my craft table for a year.
Here's a look...a layout made up of a montage of Fundamentals, Jeepers Creepers and lots of this and that...
Here's a look at some close-ups...

Here's a look at the products...some of which can be found on my GOING SOON shopping tab on my website...if something doesn't have a product #, it's retired and was in my stash (ANOTHER reason to love this layout...used some stash...holla!!!)...

BEWARE - Sweeter Than Candy...

Happy WEEKEND everyone! I have ANOTHER Jeepers Creepers layout to share...this time using the latest Let's Scrap Sketch!

I used one of the PML (pocket-scrapbooking 4x6 card) card and some Complements to jazz it up...AND you can't go wrong with a black glittery bat!
The Jeepers Creepers Assortment comes with the most ADORABLE eyes...I put them on this little centipede PML Card to add dimension...I also cut down one of the 3x4 PML Cards to make this cute little journaling box "Halloween Stories"! I also stamped my title using the NEW Marker Alphabet and the NEW color, Tangerine...I added some black dots using my Mavy Journaling Pen...
Here's a look at the layout with pictures and journaling...isn't it so CUTE!!!

& here's a look at the sketch this week...head ove to the Let's Scrap Blog to see the other DT Members' layotus AND to link up your own layout for a chance to WIN a prize from our sponsor!

GATOR #football - UPDATED...

Well, we had our game yesterday and I came away with some pretty good pictures of my baby and his first tackle football game!

After much debate, I've decided to use 4 photos instead of one (like shown yesterday)...I'm still not sold on the 4 vs 1 photo soooooo I just might add a 4x4 flip flap so the layout LOOKS like it has one photo but you flip the flap to reveal the 4 smaller photos...

GATORS #football...

On SATURDAY, we wear orange & blue...and we make CUTE layouts using PPPR files to document this special occasion!

Today is the very first TACKLE football's the little things, folks!

Here's my layout using this week's Citrus Twist Kits Sketch...the photo on the layout is actually last year's. I used temporary adhesive to attach to the layout but as soon as we get home this evening from the game, I'm going to print one from today and slap it on there for good!

THANKS for stopping by!!! Head on over to the PPPR Blog to see the files I used and grab them if you feel inspired!

BOO with Mojo Monday...

Welcome to the WEEK'S END, ladies and gents!!! I hope your Friday is treating you well!

I have a quick JEEPERS CREEPERS card to share with you featuring this week's Mojo Monday Sketch...

The "BOO!" and stars come from the Jeepers Creepers Complements...I took the sticky off the back of the BOO by using Baby Powder then pop-dotted with Thin 3D-Foam Tape to add dimension...I was REALLY TRYING to find somewhere to put those EYE-BALLS from the Jeepers Creepers Assortment but I just couldn't bring myself to take them off the acetate sheet (oh, come know you collect pretty things!)...
I pulled out a retired CTMH stamp set from a couple of Halloweens ago for the inside sentiment...fitting, don't you think!

Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween FUN with Let's Scrap...

I know I've been overloading the blog with JEEPERS CREEPERS lately but this new sketch from Let's Scrap SCREAMED Halloween to me...and what better way to document some FUN Trunk & Treat photos that use the NEW Jeepers Creepers line from CTMH!

Here's a look at the layout without photos (you guys know I love me some blank layouts...hehehehehehe)...
SEE...I told CUTE are all these details...and the colors are so ADORABLE!!! LOVE these glittery stars and that moon in the NEW CTMH COLOR, Lemon is a welcome shock of color!

I love those GLITTERY letters that come with the Jeepers Creepers Complements!
Here's the layout with photos from last year's Trunk & Treat at a local church...all I need to do is add some journalling and some a funny saying in the word bubble of the purple monster on the right...then call her done!

Thanks for stopping by...I'll have more Jeepers Creepers in the days to come!

I hope you'll head on over to the Let's Scrap Blog and see what the other DT Members did with the sketch AND I hope you'll play along with us!
