You are SERIOUSLY Awesome....

I can't get enough of the CCR and CTMH's Cricut Cartridges!!!!

At a Scrapbooking Retreat a few weeks ago, I had a chance to play and made this card using some retired Later Sk8r paper from CTMH which is totally inspired by this one pinned on my Cards Pinterest Board...

Here is a close-up and a peek at the inside...

This one is going to my SERIOUSLY AWESOME Freshman in college.   I think some cold hard gift cards will adorn the inside...what do you think!?!?!?!

You light up my life...

You only have a week and a half left to get your hands on this super cute stamp set...Illuminate.

Here's a very simple card I made using Surf's Up Paper Packet, Black Shimmer Trim and  Base & Bling Red Jewels. I found inspiration for this card {{{here}}} on my Pinterest Board.

I clear-embossed the sentiment "you light up my life"

------------------------------------
Here's a side view...I pop-dotted the sentiment a little

-------------------------------------------------
Here's a better peek at the inside...using Ruby Chevron Ribbon to bring the red over to the inside of the card...

Game On with H2H...

This week over at H2H, we are challenging you to use a game to inspire your project.

If you're a reader of my blog, you probably know what game I was inspired by...SOCCER!!!

This is my oldest son when he was about 15 during one of our Select Soccer games in Arlington.

here are some close-ups of my layout using Artbooking Cricut Collection and ProPlayer Paper Packet which is PERFECT for these pictures!

I pop-dotted the soccer pennant as you can kinda see here...

And here's a close-up of my baby...{{{{LOVE}}}} his smile!

You have 'till the end of the month to link up your game-inspired project...let's see what you've got!

Gratitude Challenge with H2H...

This week at H2H, we are challenging you to use "Gratitude" in your project.   That can be anything your little heart desires.  And...tell us why you project exudes "gratitude".

I've chosen to do a wreath using the Huntington Paper Packet.  Thanksgiving, to me, is all about being grateful for what you have.  Now...you don't have to wait 'till Thanksgiving to express your gratitude, it's just a season that it becomes more apparent...we slow down and realize what we have and why we are thankful.

Here's my project...

----------------------------------
Here's what you need...
  • 12" Styrofoam wreath
  • lots of leaves...I think I cut about 120 but only used about 85
  • straight pins
----------------------------
Separate your leaves into piles and score down the middle of each leaf to add dimension...start pinning from the BOTTOM left so you can overlap the leaves so the pins don't show.
-----------------------------------
Here's a close-up...

Now...get your thanking caps on and show us some gratitude projects!

You can link up over at H2H...you have 'till the end of the month!

If you have the CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge, you can access my CCR file {{{here}}}.  If you don't want the CCR file, the leaves are cut @ 2-1/2".
