First Day of Fall...

Today is "officially" the FIRST DAY OF FALL however Texas always misses the message...lol

I have some FALL-ish layouts to recap with you over the next couple of days (most of have been shown on my YouTube Channel) These feature the Crisp Air Collection which will RETIRE at the end of this month! I'm telling you...this collection is GORGEOUS so make sure you head on over to my website and pick you up some!

Here is a one-page layout featuring SHAKERS. This was one of the Creative Design Team's monthly collabs. I showed in my YT Video how to create a "double shaker" and a "clear shaker pocket" using our NEW Pocket Plus Memory Protectors (perfect for those 4x4 photos I print using my Persnickety Box Subscription)...

Here's a closeup of that Blue Belle Exclusive Ink on the Blue Belle Cardstock which gives it a tone-on-tone look. You can see the Blue Belle Loose Sequins, the Silver Star Confetti and those open Blue Belle Stars are actually the center of the Star Shaker Thin Cuts and make super cute confetti for ANY project...

Shaker Tags - Tags, Bags, Boxes & More Creative Design Team Series...

The Creative Design Team is featuring TAGS, BAGS, BOXES & MORE for this month's video collaboration on YouTube.

I decided to make some Shaker Tags using three of the shaker shapes we carry...circle, star and heart. Using the Thin Cuts, Foam and Acetate, Loose Sequins and a couple of Stamp Sets, these shaker tags came together really quickly.

Layout Sketch and Seas the Day...

I shared this layout sketch, Sweet Symphony, from the Imagine How-To Book (you can download it below). I used the NEW Seas the Day collection for these beachy photos and BOTH the scrapbooking and cardmaking stamp sets with Thin Cuts!

And, here is what it looks like with photos (I'll add strip journaling in the bottom left) along with a closeup of the shaker element. The title was cut using our NEW Classic Alphabet Thin Cuts and I just LOVE the bold letters in the Sapphire Cardstock!

Reindeer Crossing SOTM Blog Hop...

Am I the only one you cannot believe it's already December...and secretly JUMPING UP FOR JOY because it's already December!

Before the hustle and bustle of the Christmas Season gets underway, several CTMH Consultants are joining in this month to show you this month's SOTM, Reindeer Crossing! It's a PERFECT stamp set for all thing Christmas...whether it be for your annual Christmas cards or a Christmas layout!

I wanted to make a snowy Christmas card using this stamp set because, although the deer appear to be eating grass, they look all "wintery" to me...lol.

Let's look a little closer at the details. I used some Linen Cardstock with the White Daisy to set it apart and add the slightest color variation...the B&T in the shaker window is from the Mix-In paper packet a catalog or so ago (you can still find it in the ONLINE ONLY section of my website). Then of course, I used the Shaker Window & Confetti Thin Cuts (even used the little stars that pop out of the die cut) with the Silver Loose Sequins to create my little window into the winter wonderland behind the deer. The ribbon is some of my FAVORITE ribbon from CTMH. Although I used it "as-is" here, you can color with your ink pads or markers.
