'Cherish Your Memories' Bella Workshop

Each month I hold a layout workshop that I like to call "Cherish Your Memories" because when I first started this style of monthly layout workshops (got the idea from my upline, Pam), I was using layouts from CTMH's 'how-to program', Cherish....the name just stuck and now we call it that whether the layout patterns are from it or from the newer versions, Imagine or Reflections. MUST HAVE books by the way!!!
--------------------------------------
The girls LOVED the layouts and I plan to find the perfect pictures some time this weekend!!
------------------------------------------
Layouts 1 & 2
Close-up of Foundry Tab on Layout #1....
Close-up of frame using DE Borders on Layout #2....I also used some Smokey Plum Organdy Ribbon from when CTMH sold the big spools.
Layouts 3 & 4....picture color is really bad (sorry)
Close-up of Foundry Tab and DE Borders on Layout #3...DE Border is actually continued to Layout #4 as well....creates continuity.
All products are CTMH:
Paper Packet: Bella
Inks: Desert Sand and Olive

Need a card?

I try to hold at least one card workshop per quarter and August was the month for this one! We created the following cards using various paper packets and accessories. The attendees made a total of 10 cards (2 each of 4 standard-size cards and 1 each of 2 more "involved" cards) with envelopes and lots of leftover accessories to KEEP!!!
-------------------------------------------------

6"x6" Popup Card using CTMH's Unforgettable pp and Fancy Cut Botanicals....we left the sentiment area open so they could decide what to put later.

---------------------------------------------------
Tri-Shutter Card (pattern from Split Coast Stampers)...the Cranberry Ink smeared (not common) and I was too lazy to restamp : We used Blue Ribbon pp which most of my attendees hadn't used before and they LOVED it!!!

The card opened...you can sign and put a personal note on the Colonial White cardstock piece in the center.

----------------------------------------------

Magic Moments and Bird Basics standard-size card....a tiny Sparkle is in his/her eye :0) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE both of these items...a truly must-have!

-----------------------------------------------

Tri-fold cards using Perfect Day (another one of my FAVORITES), Fancy Cut Botanicals and Sparkles again...

The flower on this one is what Miss Karen P called a "lollipop flower" and I just had to try it out on my card....

This one uses the Fancy Cut Botanicals and is what the attendees used....

--------------------------------------------------

Pullout Bella Card using Dimensional Element Borders, Botanical Borders stamp set and Buttoned Together stamp set and Hollyhock Ribbon Rounds (Twill). I copied this idea from my dear friend and side-line, Sylvia (not sure if this was an original or if she was inspired by someone).

-------------------------------------------------

And...the CUTEST card ever that I totally copied from Miss Vicki using Tinkerin' pp, Gear Up stamp set, Badge Buttons for his nose (my way of making this card my own) and Pewter Brads....

Boom-Di-Ada Teacher Box

This is the teacher box I made for DD's teacher. Since she teaches "older kids", I decided to make it less juvenile than the other one.
-----------------------------------------------------
This is a view from the top (kinda)....I used a flip-flap so that Mrs. H-M can add a picture of her husband, daughter, etc. to personalize it a little more.
The inside....
Pencil and pen holder (same pattern just shortened the pen holder a bit)...
September Word Puzzle again...."take time to SMILE"
Gum Holder....got the idea from Aaron (she's so talented)!!! Here it is closed....
Here it is opened....(you just slide the ribbon (non-CMTH) off and the gum (1/2 of a Trident package) slides ride out!!!)
Goodie bags....I used my circle coluzzle to cut these flowers from the patterned B&T - same thing everywhere you see "circle flowers". The centers are actually 3-D smaller flowers cut from the same patterned B&T.

Same details as the last box - uses Boom-Di-Ada paper packet!!
Not Pictured: Notecards - used the same little apple from September Word Puzzle

Teacher Box Workshop

This is a workshop using the My Creations Memory Keeper Box (size is box measures about 10" x 3" - give or take) and various papers.

-------------------------------------------------
The first one is for a 1st-grade teacher (I'll post the 4th-grade teacher one on another post)....

Inside.....full of "stuff" teachers need.
This is the CUTEST thing....I got the idea from Vicki who got it from Laurie. My version is pretty plain compared to theirs. It still adds that little "wow" factor to plain pencils, though!
Instead of making 8 notecards from scratch...I found these at Michael's dollar spot and added a stamped apple from CTMH's September Word Puzzle stamp set. LOVE that little apple!!!

I used 3x3 clear bags (opening at the bottom for easy access) for the erasers...there were also bags for post-its and binder clips).

Products used are all CTMH except for the ribbon and the "innards". All paper is CTMH.

Update on 4 Albums done for Father's Day

This was a FUN project...wish I could've completed this much for my kiddos....lol (Original Post - July 24, 2008)
-------------------------------------------------------
I finally got the pictures uploaded of the four Albums done for a friend as a gift to her husband for Father's Day. He LOVED the albums and I will be doing a Family Album as well. I tried to get them in order as close as I could but with this many pictures, it was kinda hard....enjoy!

If you'd like to see a close-up version, just click on the picture.
