I decided to remake a card I made a year or so ago...it's such a FUN template and come together soooooo easily with the Summertime PML Cards and a little bit of stamping! Literally, I made this card - START TO FINISH - in 25 minutes during my lunch break!

Ok...here's my card

Looks like a normal card, right....and look at that CUTE little astronaut from Stargazer. I used my mini-stapler, shin-han markers and journaling pen for the focal piece...

NOT SO FAST....take a look at this "normal-looking card" when it's open!!!

I used one big PML Card (measures 4x6) and two small ones (each 3x4) to make this fold out card. I used some washi in my stash to attach the smaller cards to the center piece...

and...look at the little pocket made with some Stargazer B&T and zip-strip...perfect for a gift card or some cold hard cash (yes...I only had a $2 bill...lol)

Pumpkin Painting...

Welcome to this month's BLOG HOPS WITH HEART! This month the theme is TRICKS & TREATS and boy do I have a treat for you!

If you're coming from Wendy's Blog, you're on the right track!!!

I am sharing a one-page layout I made using the Jeepers Creepers Collection - this layout will commemorate our tradition of "pumpkin painting". Each kid gets a pumpkin...we usually only carve one and paint the rest! I can't wait to take pictures this weekend of this "activity" and get the photos scrapped...

I used the Artistry Cricut Collection to spell the word "painting" then cut it out of one of the PML Cards that come with the Jeepers Creepers Paper Packet...adding eyeballs from the Jeepers Creepers Assortment was a FUN added touch!

I used my Artbooking Cricut Collection and some Black Glitter Paper to cut the spider web. I backed it with plain 'ol tissue paper & some thread tangles...

I had to throw in some CUTE Washi from the Jeepers Creepers line..

I'm so excited to post this layout...not because it's my best, necessarily, but because:

• It took me out of my comfort zone of clean lines and perfect placement
• I used techniques that I have been wanting to use for MONTHS
• I finally did some thread "tangles" - I've done them before but the projects haven't made it to the blog yet
• I used photos that I took on a whim, printed right after and have sat on my craft table for a year.

BEWARE - Sweeter Than Candy...

Happy WEEKEND everyone! I have ANOTHER Jeepers Creepers layout to share...this time using the latest Let's Scrap Sketch!

I used one of the PML (pocket-scrapbooking 4x6 card) card and some Complements to jazz it up...AND you can't go wrong with a black glittery bat!

The Jeepers Creepers Assortment comes with the most ADORABLE eyes...I put them on this little centipede PML Card to add dimension...I also cut down one of the 3x4 PML Cards to make this cute little journaling box "Halloween Stories"! I also stamped my title using the NEW Marker Alphabet and the NEW color, Tangerine...I added some black dots using my Mavy Journaling Pen...

Georgia Bound with My Crush Book...

It's time for another My Crush Book share!

Here's the cover...I used the My Crush Bluebird Book  for our trip album because I LOVE THE COLORS!!! It's so fun to decorate these covers and make them your own so I added a Surf's Up PML Card and some retired Cork Alphabet to make my title!

This is a page from the book documenting us headed to the airport...by adding the My Crush Bluebird Favorites & Memories Assortments, I was able to decorate the pages with limited stamping. I also threw in some Washi Tape to add my PL Card that has my journalling hidden inside. Some arrows and mini staples rounded out the embellishments!

Bubbles, Smiles & Splatter with Frosted Designs...

This Friday's Challenge over at Frosted Designs is SPLATTER!!!

I chose to use these photos from last year...my boy learning how to blow a bubble! He was SO HAPPY!!!

I've had this watercolor background laying around for a while - just added some extra ink splatters and it made the perfect background for these photos.

I love this grouping of embellishments...the wooden camera and the title card (from last's month Out of the Blue Kit) are both from Frosted Designs...the "smile" is from Heidi Swapp.

Don't you just LOVE this little bow!!! It was made using my envelope punch board...

DELIGHT is from the Blossom Complements and the Coral Reef & Oceanside sequins on the flower centers are NEW too!!! The "You Bring Me JOY" is cut from the NEW Carnival Washi Tape (some thick 1" washi as well as little 1/4" washi...LOVE!)
