TWO New Card Kits...

We released TWO new Card Kits last week and I should have my hands on them in a day or so!

Here's a look at them...

Everyday Beauty Kit - with pretty blues and delicate florals and sentiments. The touch of gold might be one of my favorite things about his kit. Usually I don't put gold with blues, but this one works!

The next Kit is a CUTE one!

The Adventure Awaits kit is a non-stamping kit so everything you see here...the ADORABLE images...are all diecuts! How cute and EASY is that!?!?!  Even the sentiments are diecuts!

Head on over to my website and check out these TWO NEW KITS as well as all the other Kit options we have!

Not a cardmaker? Check out this video where I used the So Much to Celebrate Card Kit to create this one-page layout!

Scrapbooking Snowy Adventures ❄️ | New Stampin’ Up! Papers + How-To Travel Guide...

Hey friends! This weekend on my YouTube channel, I’m shared a brand-new scrapbook layout that captures one of our family’s snowy adventures. If you’ve been looking for fresh ideas to document your travels, this layout combines some of my favorite techniques with gorgeous new papers from Stampin’ Up! and a peek at our new how-to guide on scrapbooking travel memories.

This two-page spread also has an 8 x 12 Flip Flap to house more photos. It's full of movement, texture (wait until you see how I made the SNOW title), and cozy winter vibes. I wanted the layout to feel like the photos themselves—fun, playful, and layered with details you’d notice as you flip through.

Here’s what I included:

Stenciling: I used the NEW Snowy Delights Snowflake Masks in the background to add dimension and bring that frosty feel to life. The soft ink blending and pops of color help anchor the photos and embellishments.

I used four different ink colors for that layered look...

---------------------------------------------------
New Papers from Stampin’ Up!: This was the first time I played with the Peaceful Day Scrapbooking Kit these fresh patterns, and oh my goodness—they’re PERFECT for outdoor adventures. The mix of blues, grays, and cozy textures pairs beautifully with winter photos.

The ribbon I used is from the Peaceful Gardens Suite - I decided to go an upside down tie for the tags and I LOVE the look...

Journaling spots and layered tags tucked behind photos give you a place to write little details without taking away from the design.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Favorite Details ❤️

The large “Good Times” circle is the perfect focal piece and title. You can barely see them here, but I also added the silver rub-ons from the Metallic Texture Rub-Ons around the clusters, title, etc.

The Die-cut and sticker trees help pull in the outdoor vibe - I layered them and used Dimensionals for added depth...

Added texture with the SNOW Title. I used the Party Alphabet Dies and our NEW Velvet Paper in white from the All Seasons Velvet Specialty Paper...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Travel Scrapbooking Made Easy ✈️

This layout is also a sneak peek into our brand-new how-to guide on scrapbooking travel. Whether you’re documenting a quick day trip or a full family vacation, the guide walks you through:

Choosing the right papers and embellishments

Mixing full layouts with pocket pages

Quick journaling prompts to capture the “little moments”

Easy layering techniques for eye-catching spreads

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed with where to start on a travel album, this guide is going to be your new best friend.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Head over to my YouTube channel to see this layout come together step-by-step. You’ll see how I used the stencil, tips for layering patterned papers, and how to make the most of your travel photos in a two-page spread.

Why to love Stampin' Up! Inks - Part 1...

I've been slowly building my collection of Stampin' Up! Inks and trying to use my old CTMH ones as much as possible.

The problem is, the more and more I use the ones from Stampin' Up! the more and more I want to purchase...good thing is I've been using my Stampin' Rewards to stock up and I've been LOVING THEM!

I made this layout as part of a monthly YT Collab featuring random sketches we find online. This month's sketch came from Scrapbook & Cards Today. I went a little roque (for those of you who know me, this is no surprise) and made a monochromatic layout of sorts with some pops of yellow. Let's take a look...

-------------------------------------------------------------------
By using the new Good Times Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (adhesive-backed, I might add), I was able to add some pops of yellow which went really complemented my photos...

-------------------------------------------------------
Those cute little clouds? Those are from the Ephemera Pack too...CUTE, huh!?! I stamped some sentiments using Secret Sea Ink and images from the Storybook Life Stamp Set (you'll find links to all the products at the end of this post)...

-----------------------------------------------------------
Remember me telling you that my love of Stampin' Up! Ink Pads is growing...well, this is just one of the reasons. The ink reacts to water much like Distress Oxide Inks. Don't believe me? Take a look and don't forget to head on over to YT and watch the process...

You can shop all the products I used by clicking {here} - add everything to your cart and delete what you don't need...it's that simple!

Want to earn on every order - maybe to grab you some Stampin' Up! Ink Pads...sign up for Stampin' Rewards before you shop!

Remember...by watching on YouTube, you can comment, share, and subscribe!

Have an AMAZING weekend!

Summer Swimming with a Waterfall - and I'm not talking about water...

It's been a while since I posted this scrapbook layout to my YT Channel, but it's worth sharing!

We took a trip a few years ago to something called Son's Island in Texas. You can rent these little spots right on the river and swim, float, kayak...you name it, you can do it.

I found using a mixture of Florals in Bloom and Nests of Winter DSP was the perfect fit for these photos, don't you! You can find a complete list of products I used {{{here}}}.

-------------------------------------------------------
There are so many little details on this layout 😊 like this sun-stamped title. I cut some Daffodil Delight Cardstock using the Party Alphabet Dies then stamped the cute little sun using Darling Duckling Ink...

---------------------------------------------------------
These cute little circles were made by embossing some Pool Party Two-Toned Cardstock with the Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder then using various circle punches to cut out the little anchor spots to my sentiments. I stamped the sentiments on some Daffodil Delight Cardstock and dove-tailed the ends...

--------------------------------------------------------------
That cute little sun is the same one I used for the title. This circle uses the 2-3/8" Circle Punch...

----------------------------------------------------------------
Now for the WATERFALL I was talking about. This layout has an interactive feature where when you pull this little date tab, you'll see a waterfall of 10 additional photos....how cool is that!

If you'd like to see how this layout came together, check out the video below! Remember, by watching on YouTube, you'll be able to comment, like, and share with your friends!

Summer Fun...

I joined some of my crafty friends last weekend for our monthly hop featuring a Sketch we find (or create) online.

This month's sketch came from Page Maps, I believe, and the theme was Summer Fun. I immediately knew what I was going to create!

From the moment I saw the 6x6 Fruit Salad DSP (part of the Sale-a-Bration earlier this year), I knew I was going to be using it with a photo I took of our youngest son at Son's Island. What I didn't know is how PERFECT this layout would turn out!

---------------------------------------------------------------
I actually did TWO Videos for this one - the first was for the YT Hop and the second one was to add some finishing touches. I hope you'll watch both of them and let me know what you think...

Head on over to YT to watch the videos so you can interact, like, share, comment, etc. You will find links to the products I used below or you can always click the links in my Video.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEEK 😊

Scrapbooking a Girls' Trip...

Last year, I joined my CDT Friends in Vancouver for a week full of adventures, laughter, and strategizing what the year ahead had in store for us.
...
We were together on our first "official day" of being Stampin' Up! Demonstrators (layout on that to come) and were unsure of where we'd fit in. Fast forward a year and we are all thriving!
...
We celebrated one of those friends this past weekend as she hit 30k subscribers on her YT Channel. When one of us hit these milestones, we 'scraplift' a layout of theirs and make it our own.
...
This layout is from a day we were exploring and we came across the CUTEST little brick street with pink and white umbrellas overhead. I wanted to capture, not only the story, but the colors as well.

I started with picking out papers that would go with the pink umbrellas - Lovely Garden DSP was perfect. I also ended up using the Starburst Sequins that come with the Suite as well...

I also used the backsides of the DSP to tone down the florals.

By adding Blueberry Bushel Cardstock, it really brought out the blues in the photos, don't you think...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I used the Turtle-y Sweet Stamp Set for my titles...I love the oversized sentiments and how well they fit my scrapbooking layouts...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For my journaling, I used some Darling Duckling Ribbon and cardstock to create a pull-tab made from a tag from the Washes & Floral Ephemera Pack - the cute little sun is from the Something for Everything Ephemera Pack...

There is a full process video on this layout over on my YouTube Channel...go check it out!

Thanks for stopping by! Stay tuned for a post about an idea I had for making umbrellas using the NEW Coneflower Celebrations Bundle...

Sewing on your Scrapbook Layout & How to use Florals...

Last weekend, I posted my second video in a month...to say April was a busy month is an understatement!

It was so good to get back into my craft room and create...especially when I was documenting my Mother for Mother's Day!

In this video, I talked you through using floral papers sparingly (mainly because I'm not a floral girl) and how to machine stitch on your layouts.

You can watch here or head on over to YT to watch - from there you can subscribe, shop the links, leave comments, etc.

Thanks for stopping by! Be on the lookout for another video this weekend 😊

Gnomes for Spring...

It might still be Winter where you're at but here in Texas, it's borderline Summer...lol
...
CTMH recently released the third installment in our Gnomes for All Seasons Collection...Gnomes for Spring!
...
Here's a look at the Collection...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We also have Bundle options...

I recently created with this Collection for my latest YouTube Video. I coupled the Gnomes for Spring with our newest Sketchbook (A MUST-HAVE if you ask anyone who has already purchased it).

Dream Maker - easy one-layer stamping, stenciling, coloring, and more...

HAPPY SATURDAY!!! I hope each and every one of you have plans to enjoy your weekend, no matter what that looks like. For me, it's going to be rest (the best way I know how...lol), family, and CREATING!
I've had the NEW DREAM MAKER Collection on my desk all week and wanted to share with you a walk-through I recently posted on YouTube as well as two projects I did with the Collection. The stamp set is one of my favorites because it's so versatile. If ANOTHER STAMP SET isn't something you're looking to purchase right now, I urge you to look in your stash and try these techniques with what you have.
Here's the walk-through video: https://youtu.be/Zcmq3SgXZuk
This card was made in FIVE MINUTES. I have a sped-up video over on Instagram showing how easy it is to color in your stamps by using the backside of your stamps...I've been using this technique for YEARS and it's still one of my go-to techniques for fast and easy coloring.
This one-page layout uses the same layering technique using the Dream Maker Stamp Set but I added color using the stencils that come with the Dream Maker Bundle. I also used SIX STAMP SETS - one of which was the Hey Handsome Cardmaking Workshop Stamp
Don't forget to shop the DREAM MAKER COLLECTION before June 30th or even SOONER as it's only while supplies last.
Have a GREAT WEEKEND!!!
