Kaboom Blog Hop...

Thanks for joining us again this month for the SOTM Blog Hop...this time featuring over 50 Consultants.

Here's a peek at the stamp set...it's so Summery!!!

If you've come from Susan's Blog, you're on the right track!  Keep hopping around 'till you get back to where you started.  If you're starting here, I'll see you when you get back :0).  If you get lost along the way, Melinda has a full list of bloggers {{{here}}}.

I went with a RED, WHITE & BLUE theme for this stamp set but with words like "Celebrate" and "Party" and "FUN", you can do whatever your little heart desires.

I used Kraft, White Daisy & Honey Cardstock together with Timberline Paper Packet

-------------------------------
Here are some close-ups and a peek at the inside...

-----------------------------------
Here's what the inside looks like...put the red glitter trim under the Honey Star border for a little sparkle...after I stamped the "let's Celebrate" on White Daisy Cardstock, I took my micro-tip scissors and cut around the image leave about 1/16"...it looks more finished this way and is harder to mess up the cut.
--------------------------------------
Sometimes I don't want the starkness of some of the colors so I add White Daisy Ink using the direct-to-paper distressing technique.  Here's a close-up and a look at the difference...(click on the image to see it bigger)...can you tell a difference!?!?!
Thanks for hopping by!  Your next stop is Mary's Blog...go leave her some LOVE!

  9. Great card! It sounds simple...but is stunning to look at! I love the idea of using white daisy ink to soften some of those other shades.
    Thank you!
