Highlight the Details - CTMH Technique Blog Hop...

Welcome to this month's CTMH Technique Blog Hop featuring HIGHLIGHT THE DETAILS!

There are only 12 CTMH Consultants participating this month so you only need a small window of time to hop with us and gain tons of inspiration from some very talented ladies!

If you're visiting me from Terry's Blog, you're on the right track...keep on hopping around until you get back to where you started! If you're starting here, WELCOME!!!

Here's a look at my card...using the April SOTM - Love So Sweet (if you're a follower of mine on IG, you KNOW how much I've been using and LOVING this stamp set) and at only $5 with a qualifying order, it's such a great deal!

----------------------------------------------------------
So...not only did I use the Decorative Borders Thin Cuts to highlight the random stamped center of the card but I also used a trick of mine to highlight the sentiment...
-------------------------------------------------
If you turn the stamp backwards, you can stamp the solid backing over the stamped sentiment. ***note*** this doesn't work for every sentiment and it's not a perfect match but it adds that extra highlight to the sentiment...I hope you can see what I'm talking about in the photo below.
--------------------------------------------------------
I also highlighted the inside sentiment using the backside of the circle "so sweet" sentiment...

Thanks for stopping by...I hope you leave INSPIRED to create and to add the April SOTM to your wish list for this month!

Hop on over to Michelle's Blog and see what she has to share!

  1. This has become one of my favorite stamps also. I love how you turned the stamp over to create a background image. BRILLIANT! 💙☕Miss. Carrie

  2. Love your card, Katy. the highlighting with the back of the stamp is something I need to remember and use more often. Thanks for the reminder.

  3. I like the way you highlighted the small stamps in the set. We often overlook those or see them as "extras." On your card they are the "star!"
