I've been leaning towards 1-page layouts lately to get daily photos done...you know the ones...daily life, a funny face, a trip to the ice-cream truck...days or events that can be summed up in 1-3 photos. BUT, this sketch...a 2-pager...is perfect for some photos of an annual "1st-Cousin Reunion" we had a couple of years ago.
My grandparents are both deceased, my uncle is deceased and more recently, my daddy died so it's become even MORE IMPORTANT for my family to stay in touch. I have some cousins that live in Colorado and it's either a 16-hour drive or a very expensive flight for all of them to come down...some cousins that are very successful & VERY BUSY - Colby Donaldson - Survivor contestant and finalist as well as Texas Triggers business that he runs with his brother AND he's more recently become involved in real estate here in Texas. I have over 100 photos from this ONE DAY back in 2014 but chose just a few to showcase on this layout...mainly of Little Miss L's pool fun as well as some group photos of just us Cousins.

Here are some close-ups of the photos as well as one that didn't make the cut...me & my handsome 21-yr old before our tubing experience...lol
------------------------------------------------------------
I just LOVE the string of square photos in this sketch. Even though my baby's head is cropped out (mainly because I was having trouble using my NEW Selphy...lol)...
------------------------------------------
The Palm Tree cut using the CTMH Artistry Collection and a chopped up zip-strip from the Calypso line make for the perfect focal point in this bottom left corner!
-------------------------------------------
Some more cuts from CTMH's line of Cricut Cartridges...and those pink sequins from Calypso are divine!!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Wow Katy this is an absolute stunning take on Michelle's sketch. Just adore the fun photos as pastel colouring.
