H2H Raindrops Keep Falling...

This week at Heart2Heart Challenges, it's all about Raindrops...and, I can't seem to get the song out of my head...

"...raindrops keep fallin' on my head...my eyes will soon be turnin' red..."

I cut the cloud using CTMH's Artiste Collection and covered it in our Slate Washi Tape...

Then cut all the extra washi off...

Use extra scraps to pop-dot things - it gives it just enough pop without being too tall to mail

Freshly Made SUNSHINE...

Sketch Challenges are one of my many weaknesses, which means I LOVE THEM like a girl loves chocolate! 

 

But....with my busy schedule - I work full time outside the home and have 4 very busy children...I don't always MAKE TIME to play along.

 

This weekend I set aside 20 minutes to sit down and play along with Freshly Made Sketches!  One of their requirements is that you keep it simple which is sometimes hard for me to do but I gave it a try.

 

Here's a look at the sketch...

Here's what I came up with...I think it needs something in the top left corner but I kept reminding myself to keep it simple so I left it...

It's April which means it's time for another hop and this one is going to be WONDERFUL!!!

The stamp set is ADORABLE!!!

I absolutely LOVE this card...it's so bright and cheery!!!  It's a 5x7 card using Tommy and Claire Paper Packets (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE mixing paper!).  The inks were Sunset, Honey & Lagoon.  My card was totally inspired by a card I saw in an e-mail I got from Northridge Publishing!

Here's a picture tutorial on how to get your letters to line up with using Tommy Canvas Complements...1st you have to cut out the word from the acetate sheet that it comes on.
