Baby Girl Ariana Card...

I needed a baby card for a close family friend who is having a baby girl.  The baby's nursery is going to be a little shabby chic and CTMH's Ariana paper screams Shabby Chic...to me!

I also knew I wanted to use Jen's Deconstructed Sketch No. 143...

 -------------------------------------
Here's my take on the sketch...

 -----------------------------------------
Here's a side view and a peek at the inside...I used Perfect Fit-Frames (each shape from this stamp set goes with a frame cut by using Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge - you can get FREE if you sign up to be a CTMH Consultant in April...ask me more!!!) and a CTMH retired stamp set, Sweet Baby.

 -----------------------------------------
I also lined an envelope for the mother-to-be...this picture doesn't show it but I used one of the zip strips from the B&T to add along the bottom of the flap.

 ------------------------------------------
And...here's the inside using the sentiment from one of CTMH's Retired Stamp Sets, Baby Impressions...

Here's a look at the CTMH products I used...

  1. Hey Katy, I have a question about this card. Did you have to adhere the "happy" in some way or did it just stay in there? That is such a cool technique; thanks for sharing! This is such a cheery, bright card; love it!

  2. Honestly it stuck in there but I didn't want it falling out so I stuck the "happy" in the card then turned the piece over and applied adhesive all over the back of happy then stuck a piece of white cardstock behind it since it was pop-dotted it needed that extra support. HTH!
