Blessed Hop....

Not only is it April 1st...April Fool's Day...and my Cousin's birthday (Happy Birthday, Colb!!!) ...but it's also time to HOP!!!!

If you've come from Lisa's Blog, you're on the right track...if you get lost along the way, you can always go to Helen's Blog and find a complete list of participants and pick up where you left off.

Here's a look at the stamp set...

And here's what I did with it...I also used Card Chatter - Sympathy stamp set (a must have if you ask me!)

A very dear person to some very dear people in my life passed away last week...she LOVES purple so I decided to make her a card...

I spritzed it using reinker and alcohol (it'll be okay since there's no pictures) and 2nd-generation random stamped (stamp the image on a scratch piece of paper first then stamp on the card - it gives you a lighter version of the color you're using) the sentiment all around the card and sponged...I had to mail it so there aren't a lot of "frills"...

Here's a close-up of the text I random stamped...I also used a Blending Pen to color in the flowers...the ink bled a little because I was inpatient...lol

Thanks for stopping by!  This stamp set, like all SOTM's, is only avaiable during the month of April...so call your consultant (or drop me an e-mail) and get your's today!

Don't forget to hop on over to Dawn's Blog and see what she has to share...

Your card is so peaceful. I think your friend will appreciate your thoughtfulness. I like what you did with the branch - which stamp set is it from?

Very pretty! One thing I love most about stamping is that we can use any color with our stamps.
