Here's what I did with the "challenge"...if you ask me, the only "challenge" was WHICH COLOR :0)
---------------------------------
I made the flower by freehanding a circle on a piece of B&T from my all-time favorite, Notebook Paper Packet...I then stacked about 5 or 6 B&T's underneath (some from Notebook and others from another all-time favorite, Game On)...cut out using a "wavy pattern" with my scissors...secured with a brad and started crumpling...I added a button for the Mini-Medley Accents Colonial White (had TONS left over from my Miracle Kit)...again using the Embroidery Floss Neutral Assortment (Black)...I freehanded the words "thank you" all around the flower for my sentiment.
---------------------------------------
My 2 different ribbons are at the bottom of the card...the 1st is the Black Grosgrain Floral Ribbon (I used the backside) that comes in the Designer Ribbon Rounds - Black Collection...and the 2nd is the Colonial White Crocheted Ribbon that's layered on top...it comes in the Designer Ribbon Rounds - Colonial White Collection. I stitched the ribbon together using the Embroidery Floss Neutral Assortment (Colonial white)...made the 'ruffled' part as I went stitching the flaps together so they would hold.
-----------------------------
I don't always photograph the insides of my cards but I thought I would show you what this one looks like...I think it's so important to dress up the inside just like you do the outside...it just makes for a nicer presdentation!
In the meantime, dont't forget to check out the other Design Team Members' Blogs and see what they've done with the RIBBON Challenge!!!
