Pocket Power - CTMH Technique Blog Hop...

Thanks for joining us for a quick Technique Blog Hop featuring POCKET POWER and boy does CTMH have LOTS of "pocket" options for every crafter!!!

If you've come from Melissa's Blog, you're on the right track! And...with only nine CTMH Consultants participating this month, it won't take you long to hop, leave some love and be inspired!

I wanted to do something out of the ordinary so I took one of our 3x4 Flip Flaps (usually used to make pockets and interactive scrapbook pages) and made a card featuring the Craft On line, Stitched Flowers Thin Cuts (back in stock at the end of the month) and the Operation Smile - You Are My Sunshine stamp set!

------------------------------------------------------
Aren't those Crafty Sequins and colors of the Craft On paper FUN!!!! To create the pocket, I took my Flip Flap over to my sewing machine and sewed the pocket shut (after I put the sequins in of course...lol). Flip Flaps have an adhesive strip that is meant to adhere the pocket to your layout or page protector...I adhered the flap flap, using its adhesive strip, to the card base then adhered that GORGEOUS striped B&T on top so all is hidden...
---------------------------------------------
Here's a look when the Flip Flap is open...exposing the sentiment and those leaves of the flower. This card is a flat base so I will write my sentiment on the back, not to mess with the aesthetic of the card front...

Thanks for stopping by! Hop on over to Cat's Blog and see what she has to share!

  2. Oh, I really like just using a flip flap on the card! The seams seem to mirror the stitched look of the stripes.
