A Day at the Beach with PPPR...

Welcome to this month's Blog Hop featuring Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' files! This month's theme is UNDER THE SEA...

If you came here from Kathy's Blog, you are in the right place.  If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog.

I've been trying really hard to only create layouts lately...I have way to many cards that just sit there and never get used...creating a layout almost guarantees that it will get used!

UNDER THE SEA is the perfect challenge this month since we recently took a trip to the Beach...

The blog candy for this hop is a $15 GC to the PPPR store. For a chance to win, you must be a follower of each blog and leave a comment on each blog. For extra chances, you can also "LIKE" Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons on Facebook and/or sign up for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Newsletter. A random winner will be chosen for the prize on Tuesday, July 14, 2015.

Don't forget...you can pick up the Blog Hop FREEBIE on Saturday and Sunday of the hop, only...then it will be available for sale in the store.

I hope by seeing all of our project, you're inspired to create your own UNDER THE SEA project! The projects can be anything that are sea or ocean themed and feature Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files. The rules can be found HERE. This is also where you'll link up your project. One random participant will win $20 to PPPR.

Your next stop is very talented LEAH...head on over and see what she's created for you!

Happy 4th of July from PPPR...

Happy 4th of July, everyone!!! I wanted to make something Red, White & Blue to celebrate!

I started with the US shape from the PPPR Grand Old Flag Cutting Files...used my Fuse Tool from We R Memory Keepers and added some of my Craftin Desert Divas' sequins and voila...I have a half sheet of pocket pages.

Here's a closeup of my fused pocket...

Mother's Day Cake...

Each year my children's school does a fundraiser where they sell cakes for you child to decorate for Mother's Day. I look forward to this each year because my children get to be creative AND the cake is yummy!

I wanted to make this layout using the Scrapping Everyday Miracles July Sketch so the pictures would be the focus of the layout...

Please come play along with us this month and link up your layout or card!

Red, White, Blue and Old with Frosted Designs...

It's FRIDAY!!! And that means that it's time for another Frosted Designs Friday Challenge. This time the challenge is:

RED, WHITE & BLUE (use at least 2) and SOMETHING OLD and SOMETHING NEW

Of course you can see that my layout is Red, White & Blue but what you can't know is that I've had this paper for probably 7 years???? I've always loved it...the colors are distressed and muted so they seem old and "country"...I'm hoping to add some NEW photos of our 4th of July festivities this weekend!

Thanks for stopping by...don't forget to head over to the Frosted Designs Blog and check out the other DT Members and what they are sharing!

End-to-End with Let's Scrap...

It's time for another Let's Scrap Sketch for y'all to try out!!! I've been so busy lately at work and at home, sketches really spark my creativity and allow me to finish things in a small window of time!

Here's my take on the sketch...the first without pictures so you can see it as something other than a basketball layout and the second with my pictures and journalling...

 And...here's the sketch
Thanks for stopping by!

We really hope you'll play along and link up your layout(s).
