Simply Inspired by YEAR >> NOTED...

Welcome to the Simply Inspired Blog Hop featuring CTMH's YEAR >> NOTED Collection...specially made for National PaperCrafting Month.

If you've come from Blythe's Blog, you're on the right track...keep on hopping 'till you've seen all 12 CTMH Consultants' Blogs and their projects!

I wanted to do a layout showcasing one of my favorite photos from this Summer's Vacation...
----------------------------------------------------
Here's a close-up of the focal piece...an 8x10 mounted on a 12x12 sheet of Bamboo Cardstock from the Paper Fundamentals Basics Assortment. The "KISS ME" and "SMILE" pieces are actually from Rhonna Designs...I learned from Heidi Swapp the other day that she sometimes uses Rhonna's App to create one of a kind artwork then prints them just like they were photos and uses them as embellishments...so glad I found a chance to use these!
--------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------
Here's a look at the glossy resist pattern of the Paper Fundamentals...I love that they're hearts too!
-----------------------------------------------------------
A close-up of the SMILE card from Rhonna Designs...

Here's what all you get...only $5 with a qualifying order of $50 or more! CUTE, huh!!!

I'm linking up to the Creative Sketches #285 Challenge...here's a look at the sketch

National Papercrafting Month - celebrate with Noted...

Welcome to the YEAR >> NOTED Blog Hop brought to you by the very same CTMH Consultants who bring you SOTM Artwork each month!

If you've come from Donna's Blog, you're on the right track...keep on hopping 'till you get back to where you started!

I absolutely LOVE these Crush Books but hate that I make an Album then it goes on a shelf...I want to see it EVERY DAY!!! Soooooo....I decided to make My Crush In The Pink Book into a calendar that I will use for all my planning...mainly for my blog and such!

----------------------------------------------------
I added a panel from the Year >> Noted to the front of the Crush Book. It's best if you use red-line tape...I used the Base & Bling Adhesive Strips which work very well! I added a card from the My Crush In The Pink Assortment and a couple of stamped images from the stamp set that comes with Year >> Noted...
------------------------------------------
Here's a look at the Calendar I created...specifically sized for My Crush Books....Each Crush Book will hold 1/2 a year with PLENTY of space on the actual My Crush Book pages to add pictures, receipts, memorabilia or notes for any PML Scrapbook Layouts (Pocket Scrapbooking)...the good thing about it only holding 1/2 a year is that you GET TO BUY ANOTHER Crush Book...and I'm sure there will be some NEW ones with out next Annual Inspirations!
------------------------------------------------------
Here's a calendar sheet with a strip of Washi Tape adhered over the edge of the page...that way, you can see all the prettiness from the other side too! The stamp set that comes with Year >> Noted is PERFECT for adding these little task boxes with lines so you can mark 'em off as you complete them!
------------------------------------------------------

****If you want to transform your Crush Books into Calendars...whether they be for Personal Organization or PML (Pocket Scrapbooking)...you can purchase the pdf file with instructions for only $3. Leave me your paypal e-mail address in the comments and I'll send you an invoice. Everything is already sized and ready for printing!****

Don't forget...this is all you get for only $5 with a qualifying order of $50 or more!

HELLO - Something Old Something New with H2H...

Happy NEW YEAR from Heart 2 Heart Challenges!!!

We had a nice little Christmas break and are jumping right back in with a challenge of Something Old Something New! There can be tons of interpretations for this challenge but I chose to do the card below...

The random-stamped background of circles is pretty old...I'm thinking at least 4 years old if not 6. I stamped this background after seeing some paper at Hobby Lobby that I liked. Back then all I had was the three boys (and my husband, if he counts...lol) so it was hard to find cute, masculine paper.

---------------------------------------
The "something new" on my project comes in at the bottom....the HELLO is from this month's SOTM, In This Moment...the shine marks at the left and right as well as the heart in the center of the "O" is from the NEW You're The Bomb stamp set that benefits Operation Smile. I also added one of our NEW Happy Day Mini-Clothespins and tied some old Chocolate Embroidery Thread around it.
----------------------------------------------------
Here's a peek at the inside...

That's it for me, folks!!!

I hope you'll take the time to go check out the other H2H DT Members and their blogs...we have 2 new DT Members this go 'round so be sure to go leave them some LOVE!

JAVA Great Day with PPPR...

It's my turn to post over at the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Blog and I'm sharing a gift card holder I made for Christmas.

------------------------------------------
Here are some closeups...the cup is cut from CTMH's Yuletide Carol paper and CTMH Cardstock...

--------------------------------------------
Here's where the gift card comes in...I cut one cup from the Yuletide B&T and a second one from Colonial White Cardstock. I cut a slit big enough for the gift card to slip through then adhered to the the backside of the B&T...I had to make sure to not glue all the way to the bottom of the slit so the card could slide in and out!

If you'd like to see the files I used, please visit the PPPR Blog for direct links!

The Sign of a MAN - SEM Sketch Reveal...

It's time for another Scrapping Everyday Miracles Sketch Challenge...

Since it's my oldest son's birthday TODAY, I decided to create a layout all about him!!!

Being our first son to "come of age", facial hair was a MAJOR deal in our house at the time...lol...this layout is all about THAT!

How I would LOVE to turn back time and go back to that day...I would cherish the faint shadow of a mustache instead of all of this leftover stuff from No-Shave-November...lol. Below is a picture of him and our youngest on Christmas Day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! You will always be this little pubescent boy soooo excited about your three armpit hairs!!!
