Scrapbooking a Girls' Trip...

Last year, I joined my CDT Friends in Vancouver for a week full of adventures, laughter, and strategizing what the year ahead had in store for us.
...
We were together on our first "official day" of being Stampin' Up! Demonstrators (layout on that to come) and were unsure of where we'd fit in. Fast forward a year and we are all thriving!
...
We celebrated one of those friends this past weekend as she hit 30k subscribers on her YT Channel. When one of us hit these milestones, we 'scraplift' a layout of theirs and make it our own.
...
This layout is from a day we were exploring and we came across the CUTEST little brick street with pink and white umbrellas overhead. I wanted to capture, not only the story, but the colors as well.

I started with picking out papers that would go with the pink umbrellas - Lovely Garden DSP was perfect. I also ended up using the Starburst Sequins that come with the Suite as well...

I also used the backsides of the DSP to tone down the florals.

By adding Blueberry Bushel Cardstock, it really brought out the blues in the photos, don't you think...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I used the Turtle-y Sweet Stamp Set for my titles...I love the oversized sentiments and how well they fit my scrapbooking layouts...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For my journaling, I used some Darling Duckling Ribbon and cardstock to create a pull-tab made from a tag from the Washes & Floral Ephemera Pack - the cute little sun is from the Something for Everything Ephemera Pack...

There is a full process video on this layout over on my YouTube Channel...go check it out!

Thanks for stopping by! Stay tuned for a post about an idea I had for making umbrellas using the NEW Coneflower Celebrations Bundle...
