Full of Miss-Chief...

As some of you may know, we have this little girl in the midst of a BUNCH OF BOYS...lol..well, she definitely can hold her own and this layout displays just that!

I used the NEW Hello Pumpkin line from CTMH which is supposed to be predominantly Halloween but as you can see in this layout, you can totally make it not so...

------------------------------------------------
Here's a close-up...

I used the Stitched Alphabet to hide the word "SCARY" on the Lagoon-colored PML to the right of the photo grid...the title is made using Erin's Hand (a NEW favorite of mine)...

And...I used the NEW Thin Cuts - Shaker Windows & Confetti to make various circles...everything else is Hello Pumpkin paper & Complements...

Here's a look at the products I used...all of which can be purchase on my website {{{here}}}

So Proud...

I absolutely LOVE doing sports layout but by the time you're finished with a kid's High School activities, you feel like you will die if you see another orange & blue page...am I right!?!?! Coupled with the fact that our 2 oldest are pretty much back-to-back High Schoolers but I LOVE how this layout came together.

It is one I made for my Extravaganza presentation this Summer in Vegas and, believe it or not, it's using HALLOWEEN paper...our NEW line, Hello Pumpkin.

Take a look and let me know what you think...
--------------------------------------------------
And...I used the NEW stamp set, So Proud of You for the "title" if you will. To make it non-Halloweeney, I covered all the black lines of the B&T with Bluebird Cardstock...believe or not, it wasn't that time-consuming...

Thanks for stopping by...keep on coming back as I share more artwork from EXTRAVAGANZA as well as some FABULOUS new artwork!

Color My Heart Color Dare #311 - Boutique Tent Card...

I was able to stow away in my craft room this weekend and get some CREATING done...one thing on my check list was create a card using the current Color My Heart Color Dare. The colors can be found in CTMH's new line, BOUTIQUE, which I have had on my table for weeks creating things with it!

I also wanted to play AGAIN with my NEW Shaker Window & Confetti Thin Cuts (LOVE these things)...the result is TWO cards with different elements, equally FUN and GORGEOUS...

-------------------------------------------
As you can see from this photo...this card doesn't 'open' and is meant to display on a desk or something. And...the Loose Sequins in Gold coupled with the start confetti that is a result of die cutting the Shaker Window & Confetti Thin Cuts makes these shaker windows mesmerizing...

---------------------------------------------
On the first card, I also used the Thin Cuts - Decorative Borders to create the tassels! The first card, I used two pieces of acetate that come with the Shaker Foam & Acetate. For the second card, I used one piece of acetate and then cut a 3x3 piece of Gold Polka Dot acetate from the Gold Fundamentals and I opted to use the Peacock Stitched Ribbon which both are currently in the CLEARANCE section of my website (GO GRAB THEM NOW...such a good deal!!!)

And...I did a video showing how to make a tent card...BUT....it's sideways...lol. I know...I know...one who does video tutorials SHOULD know how to record....hahahahahaha. Well, to my defense, I checked to make sure the video was going to record the right way...something must've happened before I started to record that changed it back.

If you'd like to watch sideways, here you go...sooooo sorry! Also...please go check out the Color My Heart Color Dare Blog and play along with the current challenge...the colors are sooooo pretty!

----------------------------------------------------
Here's a closeup of those tiny little images that I LOVE...can you see that tiny little double stitch around the edges...those are the Decorative Borders Thin Cuts...

Product Challenge: Ribbon - with H2H...

Top of the morning to you...and I pray that your week is AMAZING!!!

I'm going to try and make it pretty at least by sharing a card I made for the latest H2H Challenge and it's a PRODUCT CHALLENGE featuring RIBBON!

Here's a look at my card using the new BOUTIQUE line from CTMH...

---------------------------------------
I know...you're wondering where the unique ribbon technique is...well, I used the Peacock Stitched Ribbon (in the CLEARANCE section of my website right now) as the leaves of the flower I made using the NEW Decorative Border Thin Cuts and Stitched Circles...
------------------------------------
And...I carried the ribbon over to the inside of my card with this little ribbon tab...

Thank you so much for stopping by...I hope you're inspired by this card and all the other DT Member's artwork...go check it out and play along with us before the end of the month!

Just Because...

JUST BECAUSE:

- it's Wednesday
- Boutique is GORGEOUS
- I needed an excuse to make a card
- a card doesn't use as much of this BEAUTIFUL paper as a layout would (thus more to hoard save for later)
- just because

I made this card over the weekend because I've been DYING to ink up these GORGEOUS flowers that come with the Bunches of Love stamp set. I used some NEW inks - PEACH, SAGE, MINT & SUGARPLUM and threw in some Peacock and black as well...finally used my micro-tip scissors to fussy cut around the flowers and adhered using liquid glass (left the leaves without adhesive so they can curl up on the edges...

Holiday Expressions Blog Hop...

Welcome to the 2nd full week in September...if that doesn't make you feel like Christmas will be here ASAP, I'm not sure what will!

One thing I am glad about it being September already is A NEW HOLIDAY EXPRESSIONS for us to pore over and order all the pretty things...lol. To help you see some snippets into this Holiday Expressions, twenty-one CTMH Consultants have come together to have a Blog Hop showing you various things we've fallen in LOVE with!

This blog hop is much like our SOTM Blog Hops in that it's a round-robin type hop...you get on where can and hop 'till you get back to where you started! If my blog isn't your first stop, you should be coming from Carrie's Blog

I have LOTS of goodies to show you guys from my Extravaganza presentation but I decided to make something from scratch for the occasion. The Boutique line has become one of my FAVORITES and I'm really not sure why because I'm not a flowery person but these colors and delicate flowers just tug at my creative strings!

Here's a look at a layout I made using the Boutique line and some stamp sets...

------------------------------------------------
I started with 2x2 squares of the GORGEOUS B&T papers then separated the squares by stamping one of the border stamps in the Boutique Card-Making stamp set. I used the NEW Watercolor Impressions stamp set to add some color behind the "you make my heart happy" sentiment...
--------------------------------------
I also used the Bunches of Love stamp set and the Boutique Puffy Stickers for this flower...see what I mean about "delicate"...I used our NEW Peach & Mint Inks for this flower and I'm soooo in LOVE with the result!

Now, all that's left to do is find somewhere to hide some journalling...might even let my QT tell me what to write since this photo is so dear to him!

Thanks for hopping by...your next stop on this CREATIVE train is the talented Darlys....go see what she has to share and leave some LOVE along the way!

Just Treats SOTM Blog Hop...

Welcome to my Blog...we have quite the TREATS for you today...sit back and relax and enjoy hopping through this month's SOTM Blog Hop featuring Just Treats!

We only have 22 consultants participating this month so the inspiration will come fast and furious! If you've come from Kimberly's Blog, you're on the right track...keep on hopping 'till you get back to where you started. If you're starting here...WELCOME!

I have a card to share with you...but not just any card. It's one of those cards that started out as something FANTASTIC then took some major wrong turns and 3 hours (YES...THREE HOURS) later, I'm left with a little less than fantastic card but at least it's pretty with all its BOUTIQUE paper and colors!

----------------------------------------------
My focal piece was made using our NEW Thin Cuts - Shaker Window & Confetti die and parts of the sentiment were colored in using our NEW Watercolor Pencils...
------------------------------------------
The little hidden gem on this card is revealed when you pull the Peacock Stitched Ribbon (on CLEARANCE NOW...it's so nice to work with, I had to grab me several spools before it's gone)...
---------------------------------------------------------------
Here's what is revealed when you pull the ribbon...

-------------------------------------------------------------------
And, the inside was super simple...took one of the PML Cards that comes with the BOUTIQUE PAPER PACKET and stamped the tiny little flowers from the SOMT then used our NEW Watercolor Pencils to very messily color over the circle flowers...

Thanks for stopping by...you can head on over to Michelle's Blog to keep the hop moving!
