Finding Inspiration with Comfort & Joy...

Our CTMH Team had a weekend full of training and one of the exercises challenged us to find a piece of artwork in the NEW November-December 2020 Supplemental Catalog and use it as a starting point to recreate with another Collection.

I chose to use Comfort & Joy and LOVE how it turned out!!!

Got Candy? and Stencils - with H2H....

This week over on the H2H Challenge Blog, it's all about STENCILS!!!

CTMH has MANY STENCILS to choose from and you can even make your own using our Stencil Paper.

I chose to take one of our pre-made stencils and make this one-page layout using the Got Candy? Special...

Here's a closeup of the stenciling. I took the Stencil Pack 3 and cut apart all the different squares (you can leave whole and use but I thought it would be more manageable to cut them apart since that's how I will probably be using them anyway). I laid it on my cardstock base then used my mini-blending tool to sponge Black Soot Distress Oxide ink all over.

Day 6 | 31 Days of Christmas Cards...

Today is DAY 6 of our 31 Days of Christmas Cards video collab over on YouTube.

Here's a look at the cards I made...somewhat simple compared to my Creative Design Team friends but that's okay! I used a super affordable stamp set - Jolly Characters - to make ALL MY CARDS, coupled with Comfort & Joy Paper and our Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers, these cards are very reproducible and have some room for you to add your own style!

Although the Jolly Characters stamp set is PERFECT for our Multi-Circle Windows Thin Cuts, you can create the same look by random stamping the wreath and adding holly berries with the Dark Red Tri-Blend Marker...

Here's my card...I used a card base from the Craft With Heart Card Subscription which made this card SUPER fast to put together! Doesn't that stamp set go PERFECTLY with that lattice pattern at the top of this PRE-PRINTED card base (one of my FAVORITE things about our Craft With Heart Subscriptions - Cards AND Layouts)....

I used some Shimmer Brushes to add some SHIMMER to the focal piece. I LOVE adding sparkle to my cards and layouts using our Shimmer Brushes (and WE HAVE NEW COLORS!!!)...
