A MER-Mazing Day with PPPR...

I'm SOOOOOO excited to be sharing this layout with you today! Not only because I think it's adorable but because it's a break in my LONG dry-spell of PPPR posts! The PPPR DT is back in business and I'm so happy!

Today's layout comes from MAJOR inspiration from a title I saw on  a BLOG that one of my FAVORITE creative people made. My daughter was a little mermaid this Summer...and what better way to document that than this layout!

Cousin Love...

Another month...ticking by...more like RACING by...lol

February 1st means a NEW SKETCH from Let's Scrap Sketches and this once includes some of my favorite elements...large photo and square photos! I decided to use some old photos that are actually from Christmas several years ago...they're so CUTE but don't really scream "Christmas" so I wanted to scrap them on their own.

I used a bunch of my stash on this one...some CMTH Magical, some CTMH Swan Lake (white acrylic hearts)...the gorgeous Sapphire hatch print is from CTMH Fundamentals

Brotherly Love at TGI Friday's...

I finally got around to using the current sketch from Let's Scrap Sketches...modified to fit my pictures, of course. Isn't that the FABULOUS thing about sketches...it's a starting point and you can go where you want to go with it!

Here's a look at the sketch..

Here's my layout, featuring my middle children...both boys...who LOVE to antagonize each other. I loved that I was able to snap these photos of them on a recent trip to TGI Fridays.

I used several cut files...the "FUN CAN HAPPEN anywhere and "love this PHOTO" are both from Kerri Bradford Studios (website is currently under construction)...I also added silver by using Shimmer Trim & Glitter Cardstock.

and the "BROTHERLY love" is a combination of the Tall Type Alpha from The Cut Shoppe and a font I used in PicMonkey, saved the image then uploaded into Cricut Design Space. To make the craft title pop a little more, I used my Mavy Journaling Pen to outline the bottom half of the letters.

I used CTMH's My Boy Complements for the black & craft embellishments. The paper is from the Fundamentals Line....Rustic Home & Enchantment...the pops of color come from some POPPY Cardstock & complements from retired lines. I had some selfies of me with my daughter & husband...not the best quality since there was a big airport window behind us but I wanted to use them anyway....so, I printed them a little smaller than 2x2 and stuck them at the top...more like embellishments rather than focal point pictures.

Life is SWEET...

Long time no see...

Isn't it funny how life can get in the way of FUN sometimes...lol..but oh, what a SWEET LIFE it is! 

While I've been absent from the blogging world, I've still been creating away in my craft room!

Here's a card I made using some NEW GOODIES from CTMH...
