My new passion....

I've been absent due to Quarter Reports at work but it's not like I haven't been doing anything....here is my NEW passion - making jewelry!!! I just love the instant gratification...don't get me wrong...I still and ALWAYS will love scrapbooking and papercrafting!!! This just goes together so much faster than a two-page layout! I'll pick out what I'm going to wear to work and if I need some accessories, I'll go spend 45 minutes to an hour making a necklace/bracelet to match. This one happens to be the first I made and one of my "chunkiest".

More scrapbooking and papercrafting to come in the next few days so hang in there if jewelry's not your thing!!! Thanks for checking back in even though I've been MIA....

April SOTM

World's Best Dad!!!

Here's a 5x7 card done for a standing swap using the SOTM for April. I used Stardust Paper Packet, Hemp and coordinating inks.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CUZ!!!

Today is Colby's birthday and he's on a cruise so hopefully he's enjoying himself!!! His nicknames for me are Katy-bug and Cuz so I thought I would add that personal touch to my birthday wishes.

Also....tonight is the premier of his NEW show on the Speed Channel...it's called American Thunder and will air at 7pm (Central Time, I believe) so please stop on over and check him out! According to him, the intersting shows will come in a few weeks but now's a good time to get hooked!!! It's full of engine and tork talk so maybe your husbands will enjoy it as well!
