A Happy Hello Blog Hop...

Welcome to another month and another SOTM Blog Hop...this month, featuring February's SOTM, A Happy Hello!

If you've come from Haley's Blog, you're on the right track...keep on hopping around 'till you get back to where you started!

Here's a look at my card...I used the colors from Hopscotch (LOVE these colors!)

------------------------------------------------------
Here's a closeup of the "hello"...
----------------------------------------------
Here's how I did the random-stamped "hello"...apply a temporary liquid adhesive to the word of your choice...adhere to a piece of cardstock or paper then Random Stamp. I hope you can see "hello" hiding in there somewhere....

---------------------------------------------------
And you all know how I let NOTHING go to waste...so now I have the negative of the word when I pull off the letters...I just traced with a black pen and then can go on another card or layout (my "e" looks like a fish, don't you think...lol)

Now...you're headed over to Michelle's Blog to see what she has to share!

Don't forget...you can start buying this stamp set for only $5 with a qualifying order of $50 or more starting February 1st!

Hump Day on a Saturday...

***this post might contain material non-adults might find offensive...for mature audiences only***

Who doesn't need a good HUMP DAY card...on a Saturday!

Not only would this make a great card for a Wednesday birthday or special occasion...but....

If your husband or significant other appreciates little loves notes of the funny sort, this would be a perfect note to hide on a "special day"...I guarantee you will get a chuckle out of it!

You can check out this post on the PPPR Blog as well as the link to the file I used.

As you might have guessed with my JANUARY SNEAK PEEK, I got to play with Celebration Word Art...here's a cute little birthday card made with this stamp set...

-------------------------------------------------------
I used a card from Artfully Sent, modified the cut file so all that would be left was the "Happy Birthday"...layered Black Glitter Cardstock behind...love that little bit of glitter!

----------------------------------------
I used Simply Said for the "WISH BIG" sentiment on the inside...

Now for the important part!!!

Blowing Kisses with Frosted Designs...

I'm soooo excited!!!

This is my FIRST post as a FROSTED DESIGNS Design Team Member! I'm a member of the Friday Challenges DT and this week's challenge is...
I chose to use an arrow overlay as my background...because we all know arrows tell you what DIRECTION to go!

I embellished with some of Frosted Designs wonderful products!

---------------------------------------------
Here's a closeup of my watercolor piece and the wood veneers I used from the FD Store...those little hearts are to die for! My daughter was almost 1 and was learning to blow kisses! My husband worked out of town at the time so we were headed to see him for the weekend. I hand wrote "kisses" with an acid-free marker then fussy cut around the letters. I typed up the journalling and printed using this little handy tip.

------------------------------------------------------
I hope you can see the dimension...something I {{{love}}} to add to all my projects BUT I don't like to put too much so my pages still fit nicely in my Albums
-------------------------------------------------------
I used a date stamp from Heidi  Swapp...LOVE that thing but it's gonna take some practice..I'm so used to clear stamps and acrylic blocks...lol

Thank you so much for stopping by and seeing my little corner of the world!

I hope you'll take the time to visit the Frosted Designs Store and see all the goodies they have! And...don't forget to head over to the FD Blog and check out the other DT Members and what they've created for their What Direction Friday Challenge...I promise you will be AMAZED!!!

Warm & Cozy kind of LOVE with SOUS...

It's my turn to share a die-cut project for the Warm & Cozy Challenge over at Stuck on U Sketches!

I'm throwing you all for a spin here and reaching FAR into my interpretation bag for this one...

These colors SCREAM Warm & Cozy to me...and who doesn't feel warm & cozy when they're in LOVE!!!

I used Cut & Paste - Charm paper by My Mind's Eye...

---------------------------------------------
I scissor-distressed the edges so you can see the teal B&T peeking through...
------------------------------------------------
I added a badge button from a retired CTMH Paper Packet...didn't like the apple pie on it so I covered it with a sticker that said "hello"...
--------------------------------------------------------
I sewed down the center of my LOVE die-cut to attach it to my card front...
-------------------------------------------------
Here's a peek at the inside...

We'd LOVE to see your Warm & Cozy Die-Cut projects...just head over the SOUS Blog and link them up before next Friday!

Here's a look at more of the Warm & Cozy paper from the MME Cut & Paste - Charm Collection...

And...here is the card that totally inspired mine!!!

-----------------------------------------------------

EOS Lip Balm Holders...

It's my turn to post over at the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Blog and I'm keeping with this month's Challenge theme of "Made With Love".

I know you've all seen the CUTE EOS Lip Balm holders all over the internet...aren't they CUTE!

Well...Lisa has some pretty fabulous files that are easy to adapt to EOS Lip Balm Holders...here's a look.

--------------------------------------
Here are some closeups...

----------------------------------------------
I used a glue-dot to adhere the heart to the EOS...that way, the recipient can easily remove it before she starts to use!

--------------------------------------------
Make sure you head over to the PPPR Blog to see direct links to the files I used.

And...here are a couple more suggestions for you that would be super cute for any occasion!

You could get a yellow or beige color EOS and add the glasses and mouth right on top with a glue-dot just like I did the heart on the candy piece above...

A red one would be cute as an apple center...

Thanks for stopping by!!!
